Clean and friendly

Staff was super nice. The pool was heated and not over chlorined. The rooms were clean and roomy. Dogs were welcomed there. Over all stay was nice. Will be going back where when we return.

Not too bad for what you pay

Cons: The staff needs to be more interested in the guests and not their own stuff.
The room was clean and the bed was not bad but the pillows are terrible. Bring your own!!! The free breakfast, I would skip if I go there again. The staff when we were checking in was just complaining about how busy it was and she couldn't do her personal stuff because of it. Plus when we were going to our room I heard another guest say, " she could not help us because she was busy taking a personal call and would be there when she can". So with what we saw and what happened to us the staff needs to be looked at.

Nice Hotel Very far from the beach

Pros: I liked this Hotel because it had good staff and good location to what activities I was involved with.
Cons: The beds need to be updated, and the t.v. channels need to be expanded to include more sports channels.
Location: Good location to the Layton hills mall, cracker barrel Outback steakhouse, real close to the freeway access.
The Hotel staff were great, one of the 2 queen beds in the room needed to be replaced as it was very weak in the middle which made sleeping on it a challenge to roll over. The food was good but limited to canned fruit, the waffle bar, coffee, juice and bagels. The room was quiet, did not hear any noises from other guests in other rooms or street noise. The elevator was hot, hot, hot but sufficiently fast as there was only 3 floors. The pool was a great relief as well as the Jacuzzi. The Hotel had a great location to food, shopping and access to the freeway.

Decent Hotel

Pros: Cost
Cons: Friendliness/ attitude of the front office staff.
Location: Famous Dave's, Cracker Barrel, Walgreens all with in very easy waking distance. Has a nice pool and hot tube with Handicap accessibility.
Room and services were good. All but, one of the front desk staff seemed for lack of a better word not happy. They were not rude but, were just seemed upset or sad the whole time. Not as Friendly as they could have been. We did not have any issue's though.

The room smelled like mold and the bottom of the bathroom door was rotting from water damage, the general appearance was clean but the smell was their and unpleasant.

Pros: Quiet despite being right off freeway. Bed was comfortable.
Despite staying on the first floor and being quite full, it was quiet and didn't hear much noise from other guests. The bed was very comfortable. It had easy access to stores, freeway and other places of interest.

The staff was THE best thing about this place! Went out of their way at every turn. The hotel was nice. Old & tired but clean.

Disappointing visit

We complained about the toilet immediately because it rocked when sat upon. A maintenance man was sent to check it out while we were out to dinner. The maintenance man concluded that nothing was wrong with the toilet and next morning when used, the toilet immediately overflowed onto my feet.
