Perfect combination of the location, architecture, style and services. The staff makes you feel at home and welcomed! Valet parking and free access to the Spa included. Casino in the building. Walking distance to the old city center along the lake shore, fine dining and much more... One downside for us was very limited English language and sport TV channels. We walk a lot, but not that much)))

We stopped for 2 nights on our way to the Alps. All the staff were excellent. Breakfast and Brasserie meals very good. Room was very Comfortable. Lovely walk along the lake in to town.

Lovely view of the lake and mountains from our room. Easy walk to old Annecy along the lake shoreline. Cycling with hire bikes from the hotel was also a welcome extra to enjoy other beaches around the lake using a very convenient cycle path. Staff were very obliging and all spoke good English. The la Voile restaurant in the hotel served some excellent courses which we enjoyed as a special occasion.

A lovely hotel and very comfortable. We stayed during a heat wave and we’re very comfortable in our room. Unfortunately, the bar area did not seem to be air conditioned which would have made things much more enjoyable in the evening.

Impeccable service and indoor accommodations. Loved the complimentary bottle of champagne and anniversary cake brought up to our room. However, surprised to see the building facade itself looking dirty, especially the front of the hotel and the landscaping - grass, shrubs and flowers dried out and not being maintained.

A mere 15 minute walk, along the lake/boardwalk, to reach the old city makes the location ideal. Close enough to the city to enjoy the amenities, but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful nature and quiet of the waterfront. The restaurant options were great. The food and drinks were fantastic, but the food portions were to large for us. We could not finish everything. The desert bar was heaven!

Everything was great . Just had an issue with the A/C. Winter started late and they still only had heater and no air conditioning. We complained to reception but they basically didn’t care to help. Thank you to Angelique we were able to get another room that was cooler. She also offered another one of the properties with Air conditioning. She was amazing and we stayed thanks to her.

After a fabulous week in a hotel in Chamonix we found the Imperial palace to be very average, the standard of service in both the bar and for breakfast was terrible, being totally ignored by bar staff in a 5* hotel is not great and staff at breakfast spent the time setting up for lunch rather than tending to guests. Overall very overpriced

A beautiful Belle Epoque building with very modern amenities in terms of the hotel rooms [including bathrooms] and general facilities. The staff were multi-lingual and responsive.

Our suite was clean and well appointed and overlooked the lake with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the nearby beach and walking trails as well as the close walk to town. The Concierges were excellent and helped us find a ride from the train station when all of the taxis were unavailable as well as providing great restaurant recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again in the future.

This is a remarkable hotel! Besides being a beautiful and luxurious accommodation, the staff was outstanding in flexibility, professionalism, and warmth. They were helpful and flexible for two very weary travelers! The location is lovely and the atmosphere calm and restful. Aside from a brief glitch in the hot water supply in the late evening, (which we did not report,) everything was first quality. We would recommend this hotel highly.

Beautiful Luxury Hotel on the Lake
Fabulous hotel! Staff members were very welcoming, valet/concierge especially. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and we especially appreciated the omelette/egg bar and orange juicer. The casino was fun and spa is beautiful. It is an easy 25 minute walk along the lake into town.

Very friendly and professional staff. Location is good for summer, but in bad weather not. The renovation was done without brain. E.g. toilet pushed right to the wall instead of center to be able to open the door, but so you can hardly sit just on the side! A smaller door would not be a rocket science. The bathtube short and shower glass protection not turning out. So you can't open the tube tap without sitting in the tube. The electric sockets next to the bed for cellphone are far away and instead a not used landline phone installed.The minimum ergonomica were not observed by the contractor. All these are not the fault of the excellent staff, doing their best to please the guests. The price is reflecting the old image and not the recent comfort. Otherwise during summer it may be a good choice to stay.
