Staff were very helpful & couldnt fo enough for you. Food in cafe bar was excellent & good value. Good location for Cite de Plantagenet. Aircon good & quiet. Negative - rooms & entire hotel need an upgrade. Shower very high base. Hallways grubby. Decor dark & dingy.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Easy check-in with my dog. the hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The room was clean with everything for me and my dog to be comfortable. the hotel is well located, free parking in front of the hotel, a tram that takes you to 24h le Mans circuit, and small walking distance to the old city.

Excellent Stopover.
We wanted somewhere within easy walking distance of Le Mans old town to break our journey from the south west of France. This hotel was perfectly located, just across the river. Staff were friendly, especially to our dog, and the breakfast buffet was good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. A very easy place to stay for a night, but we would use it again for a longer stay, as Le Mans is such a beautiful town.

Staff friendly. Good position to walk into town. Has lift and slope for chairs etc. Only issue coming from garage cannot leave without climbing a step.

Initially given the key to an unprepared room (the bed was still unmade and there were used towls lying around from the previous occuplant). When we asked for a new room the check in staff went to check we were telling the truth before giving us a key for a different room.

Very good additional measures in place to protect guests and staff from Covid 19. Friendly staff, excellent location near to city centre. Free parking was very busy, managed to find one space but otherwise would have been full. I emailed in advance to reserve a paid for space in the private garage but received no reply.

Disappointing for an Ibis.
A building site outside and very difficult to find the entrance. No clear signs and a gravel path leading to the entrance so very dificult do use a wheeled case. The room only had two very soft pillows and we were woken at 8am by building work below our room.

Booked including breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child, but when we arrived we had to pay for the child's breakfast - Hotels.com did not make this clear. Plus, the hotel tried to charge us for an adult breakfast even though it clearly said adult breakfast was for 12 years and above.

Good position but slightly concerning!
Great position and in normal circumstances it would be classed as adequate, although the room smelt strongly of smoke.but having travelled through Portugal and Spain and stayed in hotels in both countries the cleanliness and general procedures around the hotel gave us cause for concern.

Lovely hotel and in a great position. The room was spacious for three of us and very clean. Food was excellent and the bar had a good choice of beers. Highly recommended and I will be back.

Me and my husband were driving back from London after the New Year holiday. Our ferry arrived Dover early evening so we decided to stay a night at Le Mans and we had chosen Ibis Hotel which we used quite often . The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was around €10 per person , a bit expensive since I ate just a croissant, a fruit and 2 cups of coffee but my husband had a full one and the food was nice, so no complaints. The room is small but tidy with sound proof walls so we could have a good night sleep after hours of driving. The only downside of the Hotel is the lack of parking spaces. There are only a few in front of the hotel and you need to pay €11 to park at their garage. Apart from this, this is a agreeable place for a night stay as there’s nothing interesting around the area. I will stay at this hotel again.

Friendly affordable hotel in a nice setting
Lovely end to our holiday on the way to our ferry. Lovely setting on the edge of the river with lovely views of the old town. Really valued the air conditioning. The room was clean and all we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good overnighter
Good for overnight stay, would not want to stay for more than a weekend. Receptionist could have told us, but didn't, that the following day was a saint's holy day/national holiday and everywhere and everything was closed, shut, fermé !! Short menu restaurant but good grub at a reasonable price.
