Great stay!

My daughter and I enjoyed a great night's sleep at this QI. It's well kept and very comfortable. It's minimally staffed but that didn't trouble us. Check in was a bit strange as it seemed not all of our information was relayed from Expedia to the hotel. We also had to leave a security deposit on a credit card which I have never been asked for before. We would certainly stay at this location again and would highly recommend it to others.

As for the security hold - we always require a major credit card at check in for incidentals as indicated on our site as well as all partner sites. Disappointed with checking in, to find out I had to pay an additional $10 per person for continental breakfast. I thought it was complementary? You think the Expedia would have informed us of that. Not happy Also no elevator for the 2nd floor, had to use the stairs.

Sorry but this review is not for our hotel. We have an elevator that was installed during our massive renovation in 2016. As well our complimentary hot breakfast is exactly that - complimentary for all of our guests except Booking.com

Front Desk Staff

When checking in the staff did not great us by saying hello. When we stepped up to the counter right away they asked "Name?". When we came down to check out at 10:30 am the staff was not at the desk. A sign indicated we should use the nearby phone to call a number. However the attendant hadn't taken the portable phone so it sat on the counter ringing and ringing. No one came so we had to search for the attendant. She was chatting with someone else in a maintenance room that was off the main hallway, through an open door and down a narrow corridor. Although these events were annoying we had a good time at the hotel. Everything else was great!

Comfortable bed yummy breakfast

Pros: Beds breakfast coffee
Cons: Slight allergic reaction to the hair conditioner, maybe i didnt rinse it out enough
Very comfortable beds and breakfast was actually delicious, even the coffee was decent. I was surprised at how nice everything was compared to most hotels in this price range.

I’m sorry you found our pillows to be to big and to firm. We offer 2 firm and 2 soft pillows on each bed. Will check to make sure that the correct pillows are on each bed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Great stay in updated modern hotel

Very modern and updated decor. Super comfortable room. I have paid a lot more for way less. Only issue was we found some m&ms on the ground next to the bed. Looks like the cleaning crew did not vacuum into all the small areas. Also the tap in the showe was not super tight, so my shower progressively got hotter with time. Other than those 2 small details, would totally stay at the hotel again.

Nicely renovated clean hotel.

Pros: Cleanliness and nice renovated and close to amenities .
Location: Close to stores ,restaurants and Point Pelee National Park.
Enjoyed our stay and Point Pelee National Park and Pelee winery.Beautiful area.

Standard Hotel

Stayed here on a weekend trip to Point Pelee. Very standard accommodation. Exactly what you are looking for in a place to sleep. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming. Leamington has so much fresh produce growing in the area, yet there is barely any fresh fruit at breakfast and even the apples are imported. Its served in a depressing and windowless room. In all cases, the basics are covered at the hotel and it's clean.

Thank you for your feedback but your review is a bit confusing. We have a brand new brealfast room with two huge windows so I'm not sure where you had breakfast as the only rooms without windows are closets. Fruit is all purchased and locally and is not imported. We offer bananas and apples or oranges. All fruit is grown in Ontario and I'm actually curious as to how you could tell if it da imported vs grown locally. We go by what our suppliers tell us.
