Visit to PisaPosted Aug 17, 2017
The hotel is central and only a short walk from the tower and cathedral. The staff were brilliant - very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean my only issue was the hair dryer which was old and weak.

Quiet.Posted Jul 24, 2017
Pros: See above. Highly recommended.
Cons: The coffee.
Location: as above.
Hotel Verdi had charm, character, quirkiness and accessibility. It was in the backstreets approx 200m from the Arno around the corner from the Verdi Theatre which has a full itinerary in the Autumn. The hotel can be a little difficult to find at first: street top left of Piazza Cairoli, first right after 30m, right at end of street (Justitia courthouse) hotel on right. Staff pleasant and helpful. Interior intriguing, original and clean. Adequate buffet breakfast. Bedroom we had was comfortable, clean, quiet and with the benefit of shutters which kept the room dark when necessary and aircon. It is only 5 minutes from Corsa Italia across the river which has many shops and leads to the train station (15 minute stroll). The verdi is only 10-15 mins from the tower which is worth seeing not only in daylight but after dark when the crowds have thinned and everything is floodlit.

Small and nice hotelPosted Mar 28, 2017
Location: Location is great. Very small walk for bars/restaurant and to the Tower. Only a 15min walk to the train station if you want to venture further a field
Hotel is a great location. It is small, clean and a good price. Breakfast options was limited but not really an issue. It was nice and quiet of a night. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Very out dated room and not clean with smells. Need to pay for parking as hotel locates opposite of the local court. Not suggest

Moderate budget hotelPosted Aug 5, 2016
Pros: Close proximity to the sites in Pisa, train station and numerous eateries of all budgets.
Cons: Efficient, controllable air-condition, cold fridge and some air freshener in the toilet. To provide at least a couple of English TV Chanels
Location: Close to the Leaning Tower, lots of shopping boutiques and local markets. Easy to get to Florence and Lucca via train. Weather beautiful, very warm.
Hotel within walking distance to the Leaning Tower and train station. We were able to take a train to Florence and Lucca with relatively cheap tickets. The hotel room air- conditioning did not work efficiently, nor did the fridge which was so frustrating that we could not keep water or drinks cold in both rooms we were allocated. In one room the hair dryer was also not working and the old toilet with the water tank placed high above on the wall overflowed and water sprayed on my head. That was the only problem the hotel managed to rectify.

A reasonable choice for the pricePosted Jul 22, 2016 on Hotels
This is an authentic but dated hotel is not really designed for the modern traveler who wants to easily plug things in, have reliable wifi (without multi-hour outages), and good functioning showers. But the place was inexpensive and quiet, staff was friendly and helpful to an English-speaking client.
