Very central, nice B&B; a bit noisy at night
I had a nice 5-night stay here for a business trip. The rooms are very good sized and comfortable. There are not a lot of outlets, but the two by the bed are a help. The bathroom was clean and reasonably well equipped. Breakfast was good, and Italian style (not a lot of hot food, lots of cakes and cookies, and some fruit). They were always happy to make coffee or tea, which was nice. The wifi was ok, though not ideal. The B&B is very well located for being around the town (which is small in any case). The problem is that the windows from the rooms tend to open onto the square, which can be very loud until late and night and from quite early in the morning. When it's warm (which is almost always), the AC is necessary if the windows are closed, and it's quite loud as well. Their "airport transfer" turned out to be one of the hotel workers driving his car to the airport and back (not terrible, but it was not a particularly large car, so for 3 it would be quite tight). Overall it was a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again if I knew everyone I was with would be comfortable with the noise levels.

One of my favorites places I have ever stayed!
I booked two nights at B&B LecceSalento because of the location, price, and positive reviews. I had no idea it would end up being one of my favorite places ever! The location is perfect for exploring Lecce. The views over the piazza are beautiful. The rooms are very clean and well-decorated. The wifi is fast and reliable. Breakfast is delicious, with lots of homemade items. And best of all, Dana, Claudia, and Simone made me feel so welcome! I was heading out on a one-week solo cycling trip and was very nervous. They gave me advice about places to visit and even gave me their personal cell phone numbers in case I needed anything. They also took care of my luggage for the week. I ended up a booking another night there at the end of my trip and had an early train to catch in the morning. While I was out for the evening, Dana prepared a special breakfast for me to take on the train since I was going to be leaving before breakfast in the morning. I can't say enough good things about them! They are such kind, caring, and friendly people and made me feel like I had a family in Lecce. If you are going to Lecce, book a room at B&B LecceSalento right now. It's the best!

Can't be more central in Lecce
Big room, comfortable bed, overlooking the Piazza San Oronzo. We arrived at 930am, left our luggage in the lobby, got keys to the room, and returned in the evening with the luggage in the room waiting for us.

Not keen initially on the building the accommodation is in and the entrance to it but the room was really spacious and comfortable and overlooked the main Piazza Sant'Oronzo with french doors that opened so I enjoyed watching the life in the piazza and had a wonderful view over the Roman amphitheatre etc. We were offered an alternative room in case we found it too noisy and some people might not be too keen on the late night busking in the square but we enjoyed it. Obviously it was very central for sightseeing. The continental breakfast on offer was excellent and included home make cakes- the staff were very nice.

Quiet, spacious room in the heart the city
I'm glad I followed the advice of other on booking this room, because it deserves the high rating. The B&B is located right at the heart of Lecce, just of the main Piazza, so you only have to step out the from door to enjoy everything this beautiful city has to offer. The couple that run the B&B were very helpful and courteous, and we were given a room the was incredibly spacious, with a large bathroom / en-suite, and despite not having the best view because it was located within the central / back area of the hotel, it meant it was very quiet despite the location. Breakfast in the morning consisted of delicious homemade cakes and treats made by the owner's wife, who was clearly an excellent cook!, and also fresh fruit, juice, coffee etc. Our stay at B&B LecceSalento was very pleasant and made the perfect ending to a great holiday.

Giant room with a view, considerate host.
Located on one floor of an apartment building,when I rang the intercom I was fearing the worst.Once inside the host was most welcoming,offering hot coffee,whilst he dealt with the paperwork. The room had a splendid view of the main piazza.It was huge modern and spotless,like the en-suite as well.Wi-fi was good and you had your own key to come and go as you wished. Breakfast was varied and unlimited quantity including local speciality pastries.Being on the main square made noise a bit of a problem early morning when the street cleaners maintained the piazza,5am is not a hardship for an early riser like me.I would definitely stay here anytime.

Nice place in the historical center.
Next to the amphitheater and a nice park in the historical center. Our room had a very nice view of the main square. Owner helped us with parking. Would stay here again.

I stayed for 2 weeks of my 8 week trip to Italy. The location was amazing. Wifi was very slow but I know they are getting new fiber optic soon. The bed was not comfortable but other than that the staff was great, Good breakfast, somewhere to lock my bike up on main level, and one of the best views out of a hotel balcony I have had in a long time no really enjoyed my stay in Lecce. Some great bike rides along the coast too.

Great location but bring your earplugs!
Loved the location but I had to be willing to not sleep until about 1 or 2 a.m. and be prepared to wait up with the street sweepers about 6:30 a.m. The room was fine with it's amenities. The staff was helpful and provided a lot of food options for breakfast. BUT if you have a front room viewing the piazza you need to be a night owl because you really can't get sleep until about 2 am. There was always something happening (often music) and the crowd noise was constant.

Great B&B, perfect location!
We stayed at Lecce for one night, staying at the hotel was perfect because it allowed us to visit the city in a short period of time. The hotel is located in a perfect location that allows you to go to every touristic point by walking. The hotel was much more what we expected for the price. The room view to the central square was really nice and no noise at all. It is a simple hotel with a nice big and clean room, the bed and pillows were also good. The owners gave us some recommendation for restaurants and they were really good.

I’ve stayed in better university dorm rooms...
Look elsewhere; pay a bit more. It’s a mixed-use apt bldg w/ kitchens ripped out to make en-suite bed sit b&b units. Unit #1: ignore “dvd player, bidet and complimentary bottled water” in the online Room Details. BATH: Newer renovation; plastic cup’s big adhesive label still being scraped off; partially falling sheer curtain tacked up in front of valence screw holes & old fittings; below the sink brown packing tape covering the tiles (an electrical socket cut?). Very small shower cabin. MAIN ROOM: Too many wall scuffs & bad patch jobs; curtain rod arms masking-taped to their brackets; ceiling holes from an old valence; sheer curtain (needs a washing, bring your eye mask); nearby light switch raised via a very bad patch & fill job; floor moldings don’t meet & no caulking; bedside table w/ drawer bottom stained & warped under paper towels (trash it!); 10 badly patched holes from a previous TV wall mount; shelf below new flat-screened TV has 2 nice wooden brackets & 1 of ugly metal w/ screws exposed atop a plaster gouge (at eye level while sitting at the table, with no desk lamp). THE GOOD: Location, wireless internet, elevator. Very nice owner couple; he speaks English. BREAKFAST: better than typical; served in a spare room of the owner’s apt w/ small balcony. They're most likely renovating the b&b units first.

The accomodation was away from the actual B&B address, which we were not prepared for so you need to wheel your case through the streets. It overlooked the square which was great for us but be prepared for the noise at night - which we expected. The beds were really comfy but for us we were put off by the fact that the shower room still held the remains of soap and empty satchets from the previous people who stayed. The breakfast was in a cafe and quite frankly it was more than a little disappointing.

City Center, convenient to everything
Aside from difficulty in finding the B&B, I felt it had an extremely convenient location. However, being there on a Saturday and Sunday night was a problem, at least in the warm season. It is located just off the main piazza in the city, and, since every family comes out of their homes to enjoy the evening...into the morning, it can be VERY noisy. There was no air conditioning which would allow for closure of the windows to stifle the noise, even though my room was high off the street. However, the woman who guided me to the room, and who spoke very good English, was always extremely helpful, and available any time of the day. She made up for the frustrations. The breakfast was satisfying, and, while I was there, completely alone, with wonderful photo opportunities over the Roman amphitheatre in early morning. I would recommend this hotel on every day except Sat and Sun!

Interesting hotel in excellent location
I selected this accommodation at the last minute, deciding to stay in the center of Lecce. And from that perspective, the location was perfect - right next to the main piazza. The room was quite large, with large full bath, and kitchenette. It is one of only a few rooms that are managed by this B&B on the 3rd floor of an condominium, which houses other businesses and residences. Although access is less than convenient (must ring the doorbell and communicate through speaker to enter), the quality of the accommodations, friendliness of the staff, in-room breakfast service, and outstanding location, made for a very positive experience. Oh, parking is not very convenient in the area, but metered parking can be found not too far away.

Dear guest, we hope you are fine. We are very sorry for your review. First of all, we sent you a message on expedia group the 30th of september. In this first message we asked you about the room, in particular we asked you about beds, becouse on your description on the reservation, this was not clear. We wrote also we were available for any information. Anyway, nobody replied us for this message. The 3th of November, one day before your arrival, we wrote you the second time, asking your arrival time. Anyway, nobody replied us, again. We have check-in times so that we organize with guests depending by this working time. Is not our faults you waited for two hours and, moreover, we didn't know becouse you didn't call or write us to inform about your arrival, so we dind't know nothing. If we had know, for sure we would have been more helpful. You call us only 40 minutes before, asking the way to arrive here. Furthermore, is very difficult for us to believe is not easy achieve Santo Oronzo square, the heart of the historical centre in Lecce, that you could reach easily using google maps or asking someone in the street. Besides, when you called us, we tried to explain you also for parking and the way to achieve the b&b. Once you arrived, you started to shout against our receptionist, who tried to understand what's happened. This was not nice, at all. Once you explained everything, shouting and using unkind ways, he fastly resolved your request about two separeted bed ( an issue we tried to understand one month before writing you the first message on 30th of september). We hope the next time we could have the possibility to communicate better and clearly, so that your stay could be confortable and not stressing. Kind regards, Lecce Salento B&B

Hyper central. Un appartement entier à disposition (2 chambres, cuisine et salle de douche). Un petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Le seul defaut est l'isolation sonore. Avec un double vitrage, ce serait parfait

La posizione del b&b è perfetta per girare comodamente il centro di Lecce. LecceSalento affaccia direttamente su piazza Sant'Oronzo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Buona la colazione. Personale gentilissimo, accogliente e super disponibile. Il giorno della partenza non avrei potuto usufruire della colazione perchè avrei lasciato la stanza molto presto, e mi è stato preparato un vassoio in camera per poter fare colazione. Grazie di tutto!

B&B in pieno centro a Lecce quindi posizione strategica ma difficile trovare parcheggio (a pagamento )se si viene in macchina. Stanze pulite e confortevoli . Consiglio di Rispettare gli orari di check in indicati per evitare ripetute telefonate del proprietario.

Ci scusiamo per le ripetute telefonate, considerando che chiudiamo alle 20:00 poiché non possiamo avere una reception h24, essendo un piccolo B&B e non un Hotel, vi abbiamo fatto la cortesia di attendervi sino alle 22:00, orario da voi designato, anche se poi siete arrivati alle 23:30. ロケーションは最高。オーナーやスタッフの誠意もとても伝わってきました。 部屋の壁は少し薄かったですが、気になったのはそのぐらいでした。 b&bなので、24時間フロントにスタッフがいるわけではありませんが、もし緊急な場合、電話をすれば対応してくれるそうです。 全体的にはとても満足しています。

Buena situaciòn
Buena atenciòn, buena situaciòn. La habitaciòn que da al patio de luces es algo ruidosa por los equipos de aire acondicionado que hay en los locales comerciales, y esa misma habitaciòn sòlo tiene un pequeño armario sin perchas. El coche puede aparcarse en zona azul pero con tiempo para buscar y a partir de 5 minutos andando.

La mia famiglia ed io ci siamo trovati molto bene sia per la camera che era veramente accogliente e anche per la zona perché sta proprio nel centro di Lecce. Ambiente familiare, ottima colazione con tipicità leccesi.

Sulla piazza più caratteristica di Lecce
Grande soggiorno, peccato troppo breve (solo 7 giorni e 6 notti) al B&B Lecce/Salento. La simpatia, la cordialità e la professionalità di Tommaso, Danuta e Claudia lo hanno reso ancora più indimenticabile. Ottime le stanze, pulite, curate e con bagno intero. Splendida la vista sulla pittoresca e storica Piazza Sant' Oronzo.

Bed e breakfast comodo a tutto.
Esperienza certamente positiva. Camera e bagno spaziosi. Vista sulla piazza e sull’anfiteatro romano. Ci si sposta a piedi per vedere tutto il centro storico. Colazione ricca e buona.
