Good pub, great staff.Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: Staff and the atmosphere
Location: Really nice town, people very friendly. Good visits to eastnor castle and to a cider brewery in muchmor
Oldy Worldy room with low ceilings, beams and slopey floors. No veiw but comfy enough. Staff were lovely and there was a great friendly pub atmosphere.

Characterful but lacks anything specialPosted Jul 30, 2015
Nice place but there were a number of things that lacked, not least the room smelling very strongly of dogs. Breakfast was OK (tinned fruit was horrible!) but I didn't eat or drink in the pub. Overall, at £85 per night single occupancy, I thought it was very highly priced for what was on offer.

Like a 5 star hotel in an Olde Worlde setting.Posted Jul 20, 2015
A great place to relax after an extremely busy trip. Lots to see in the surrounding area. Loved the old town setting and access to Hampton Court Castle.

Service und Zimmerkomfort äußerst differentPosted May 10, 2015 on Hotels

Tischlampe defekt, Teppichboden dreckig. Duschbrause teilweise defekt. Das Essen war gut, Früstück reichlich

we had just one night at the hotel, staff very friendly and helpful room clean, we decided to have are evening meal in the bar and was impressed with the service and food. In the morning when we went down for our breakfast once again could not fault it There is only one problem, Parking, no car park.

Historical Inn but looks better in the photosPosted May 1, 2015 on Hotels
2 night stay for wedding in Eastnor Castle. Stayed in Room 2. Historic Inn full of character and charm, nice ales, good location.Breakfast was nice.Smoked salmon and eggs, and cooked breakfast the 2nd day.Very central location. Inn is now a little run down.Room 2 was low ceilings, low doors and unlevel floors. Add to the charm I here you say.Correct. What doesnt add to the charm is a bathroom that is clearly not as clean as the standard Im not used to in a £100 a night hotel. Dust on radiator, shower walls not clean. Generally the "modern" hotel fittings feel run down.I expect more the price. Room tip Avoid room 2. If you open windows for fresh air you can smell the kitchen as its close/same level as air vents. Room is also quite dark and needed to move around bedside lights to attain enough light on the mirror for wife to do make up. Free Parking is available 5 minutes away. exit one way street and take first right. Within 50 yars is a long section of road with no double yellows.
