The only downside was the lack of parking and rooms overlooking the courtyard can be a bit noisey on fine evenings.

Beautiful coaching inn, friendly staff

Posted Mar 13, 2018
Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, delicious breakfast with free-range eggs, in stunning period room with oak panelling. In the bedroom there was a small en suite cleverly tucked into the corner, although the shower door didn’t close properly. Excellent location, walkable from station and 30 seconds from the high street shops and cafes. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the staff for a comfortable stay.

A 'Local' hotel....with a locals bar.

Posted Jan 27, 2018
Pros: The Talbot is Dickensian with floorboards to match.....creaks a lot.....undulates a lot....and is euphonious (great bar hubbub).
Cons: The en suite in room 4.....made for VERY slim people (squeeze of a shower) and.....VERY short people (8" x 18" mirror at tummy height).
Location: Very good (we NEVER say excellent) for the town n bus routes.....parking can be expensive n inconvenient.
Just right for what we wanted to do.....be close to visit friends.....have supper with friends and go to theatre with friends....good food (b'fast n bar snack).

Good time in Ledbury

Posted Nov 30, 2017 on Hotels
Beautiful old pub with rooms in a modern annex at the back. Excellent breakfast and service. Very good room. Excellent location for site seeing in Ledbury and locality. The Inn was a little difficult to find using the Sat Nav because it was off the main road and round the one way system
