This apartment was spacious and just right for our family of 4. The location was central to the ski mountains, which was important to us. The little market right across the street was handy, too. The owners were super responsive and helpful when we had questions. Washer/dryer was convenient so we didn't have to bring a bunch of dirty laundry home with us. The kitchen had all the utensils and gear we needed. Also, there's a park with playground directly behind the house, which would be great for those with kids in warmer weather.
There were a few things that would have made this trip perfect. The house is on a busy street so there was a fair amount of road noise, especially in the mornings, so for light sleepers it was tough. The area is kind of industrial, so this isn't your "cabin in the woods" or "cute quaint downtown" sort of mountain getaway. I would have also appreciated a more stocked kitchen. There were keurig pods and oil, salt, and pepper, but it's always nice to find ketchup or syrup packets and things of that sort. Make sure to being or be prepared to buy everything you might need (foils/plastic wrap/baggies were provided).
Overall, we would definitely recommend this location to others looking to explore the Berkshires.
