Good location to train station and shoppingPosted Dec 16, 2017
Pros: Location and wonderful staff
Cons: Cleanliness of soft furnishings
Location: Easy access to the train station and shopping
Lovely hotel excellent location but looking a little tired upgraded to a family room but disappointed as it wasn't as clean as expected. Having previously stayed in a smaller room which was lovely we discovered the cushions were stained as was the bedding, the bathroom also could have been cleaner. The staff were wonderful professional and helpful and the breakfast was good so we would probably return as we appreciate the hotel was very busy with Christmas parties and gave us the upgrade so we wouldn't be disturbed by the noise.

Would recommend, but not perfectPosted Oct 27, 2017
Pros: It was very clean and in general I felt well provided for, with helpful staff and a comfortable well located room.
Cons: Room service is not worth the high price they charge a few broken amenities and the tv was placed directly in front of the mirror which was annoying.
Location: Less than 5 minutes walk from the station and probably less than 5 minutes from the main shopping centre, maybe 25 minutes walk to the university.
I came to Leeds for work and just needed a base for one night, the met offered a perfect location, so close to the main train station and a five minute walk from the main shopping area. The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. I have a few small maintenance issues, such as one of the lights in my room being broken, the windows aren’t double glazed so even when shut there was a slight breeze and noise travelled easily. Also the room service isn’t the best, to pay by card you have to go down to bar before the food arrives to pay but there was no one at the bar, with the abnormally high tray charge I’d expect more of this particular service. However overall it was a lovely hotel, very comfortable and clean if a little cramped and in an ideal location.

Met leedsPosted Oct 23, 2017
Very small room and bathroom, bathroom sink was blocked and Leeming, noisy at times. The bed was comfortable. There's no way on earth it's a 4 star hotel, travel lodge is superior every way. The new Ellington located round the corner is leagues ahead in every respect and within same price bracket. U

Great location and met expectationsPosted Sep 25, 2017
Overall great experience, clean spacious room no faults. However, in the evening an older blonde member of staff raised her voice at reception to younger staff members which was uncalled for in front of guests.

1 night stayPosted Jul 26, 2017 on Hotels
1 night stay- did not eat in restaurant but bed comfy. No aircon but I opened the window- sadly buses and bin lorries are a little noisy. Shower interesting a bit complicated for my little brain. Close to train station and restaurants.
