I think it was a college but the campus was beautiful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was an A+.

Very Pleased With Our Stay

Pros: Bed, Staff, Room, Cleanliness, Breakfast, Wifi
Cons: All around pretty happy
My wife and I were very pleased with our stay here. The bed was super comfy. The staff was very friendly from the minute of checking in to the minute we checked out. We found our room very quickly after a few simple directions. Especially directions from where we were needing to park. The breakfast was enough for us to be happy with. And we would definitely choose here again if we plan on stopping by this area. Free Wifi was really nice as well.

Highly recommend this nice retreat in a gorgeous setting. Gym was amazing. Also coffee shop/gift shop!

Everything was awesome except breakfast. Not many choices....pretty disappointed.

Need Better Signage! Otherwise beautiful Hotel A+

Finding this hotel was almost impossible! Granted I arrived at night 9:30 so very dark GPS routed me in to main entry gate that says Unity Village I didn't realize that its like a park/golf course/wedding area. Its a big area drove around in the circle twice. Tried calling the hotel only to get to automated # and phone just rang and rang. I did try Hotels.com for assistance which I will get to more of that later in my story. But finally found a security officer driving around and he was able to assist me. Really need better signage as I told the clerk upon check in. Otherwise beautiful area and very clean and well maintained area. Did have trouble with thermostat would only cool to 72 even though it showed a lower # when you set it. I didn't call until morning to ask front desk they reset it said if after 30 mins not better to call back. I was still there but didn't call back but 72 was it. I prefer it a little cooler. Now back to Hotels.com the girl asked for my callback # in case we got disconnected since I was on hold forever I did hang up once I saw security. But she never called back. I was by myself in an unknown area at almost 10pm and couldn't find the hotel or # to get someone. Hotels.com was my only resource a bit disappointed that a call wasn't returned to me to make sure I found it. I will remember that for future.

Clean and comfortable hotel on unique property

This was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in, far better than even 5 star hotels I have stayed at! I examined the room for a single hair or speck of dust and failed. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a clean smell. The property has a walking trail and some interesting historic buildings around some spectacular fountains. There is even a golf course! The free breakfast could use some improvement but they did have greek yogurt which was a plus. I would definitely return.

Pros: Quiet
Very quiet stay. Nice grounds. More of a religious conference center with hotel type rooms for lease. No religious connotations or pushiness. We would stay again. Continental breakfast is just that. Self-serve microwaves to heat up breakfast items.
