Dirty

The room was unkept and dirty. It looked as if the sheets on my bed had not been changed, just made up again before I arrived. I slept on top of the covers because of that. The chair & ottoman were so old & filthy I did not sit in it. The floor mat for the bath was soaking wet & on top of the bathtub!

Room needs updating: door has peeling varnish etc

Cons: Update rooms
Great staff, lobby and breakfast areas are great, but . . . Door to our room had peeling varnish, bedding was below par, and carpet was worn. Time for an update!

Short Stay

Pros: convience it is old and needs to be updated
Cons: carpet, furniture, the chair was broke in our room (recliner) it would be a great stay if they update the furniture, replace the carpet and remove bro
Location: good location for shops dining and grocery
Second night we were there the hot water was black, my husband let run for a while until we could use it, the second night the water was black it turned the wash cloth dark grey, they moved us to a different room, we upgraded to a suite the first room was considered a suite but when they moved to another room it was no way a suite but we paid for it anyway, I told the front desk the linens were soiled which we did not notice until the next morning the lighting was very poor in the room when we opened the curtains you could see the stains and soil across the top of the comforter

The weather was great. There were a lot of local business. Plenty of places for a good time. However the first two days we didn't have much hot water.

Good hotel

Great experience hotel is very close to restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and ready. The hotel staff was very friendly and bring good service.

Nice hotel close to Spanish Springs Centre

Pros: location, late breakfasts on weekends. Comfortable.
Cons: I will probably stay again so will think on that. Keep the repairs up especially in the bathroom.
Location: Are you kidding.....The villages.....
The breakfasts were a nice treat. I only had them on the weekend when you could have breakfast till noon. That is a bonus. I usually miss breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful. Olivia gave me a ride to my home close by because the adjuster was coming and I couldn't get a taxi. Really appreciated that. Nice that there are those who help in dire straits. I was going to hitch hike or walk. I was staying at the hotel because my home was being fixed. A leak occurred. Nice that Chili's restaurant was close at hand. Everything was great.....thank you. Nice and quiet. Had a great sleep.

Old hotel, needs lots of updating.

Definitely not like other Holiday Inn Express hotels we have stayed in. Needs major updating. Painting done in the bathroom was very poorly terrible. Had to wash spots off the bathroom mirror myself. Bed not comfortable.

I am so sorry you experienced these issues during your stay. This is not typical for our hotel. I will speak with the Housekeeping staff to make sure these does not happen again. we just replaced the beds in the hotel so next time you are in the area they will be more comfortable
