We have a family reunion every other year in Florien so we stay here every time we come to town. Always a good stay - from the staff to the property itself. Never had a complaint the last 3 stays.

Big Dog-friendly facility was the main reason for booking, along with location, during our military relocation move. Everything was great for the first several days, except we were concerned with the cracking tiles and “soft spot” in the entryway. This worsened as days went on but we thought nothing of it, until.... A 3x4 FOOT SECTION OF THE FLOOR GAVE OUT FROM UNDER ME AND I ENDED UP IN THE CRAWL SPACE! Thank goodness we were on the first floor and that I have great reflexes. I managed to catch myself and wasn’t impaled by wood or a sharp piece of the tile. We immediately notified the night desk clerk (this happened at midnight), who told us this had also occurred, and to a larger extent, in another room just down and across the hall from ours some time ago and had yet to be fixed! She offered us another room and said we could leave all of our stuff in the first room and get it in the morning. Great! We had a lot of stuff and honestly, by this time I wasn’t up for moving everything. Come morning, we were told by the day desk clerk that we had 20 minutes to move out, then the door would lock and they wouldn’t open it for any reason, whether we’re done or not. We’d already planned to check out that day, just not 3 hours prior to normal check out and not in 20 minutes. The day clerk’s attitude was poor and without concern for our wellbeing, stating it was an “insurance issue”. Repeatedly moving heavy suitcases over a caved in floor is not something to be rushed.

BATHROOM HAD MOLD IN THE SHOWER, CALCIUM ON SHOWER HEAD MADE IT TO WHERE THERE WAS NO PRESSURE. ROOM 410 THE AC WAS LEAKING REPORTED ALL OF THIS TO MANAGEMENT, ACTED LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL.

Friendly staff. Comfortable king bed. Love the waffle maker and the coffee choices. Plenty of parking.

The room I stayed in had a terrible smell as soon as I walked in. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well and the shower was clogged so there was standing water the whole time I showered. It wasn’t a great experience.
