The Inn at Jim Thorpe is perfectly located - right in the heart of the historic district, across from the train station and an easy walk to all the main sights. It's a beautiful old building with clean, modern rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities. It's wheelchair- accessible and has an excellent restaurant and bar serving breakfast, dinner and drinks and snacks.

The Inn is historic but in excellent condition with all the modern conveniences. The staff was professional, proactive and personable. Its location in the historic district is perfect for a walking weekend. That said, it is a busy area and a little noisy. The restaurant and bar were also excellent.

This hotel was one of the best I’ve been to. We were greeted upon arrival by a very polite and knowledgeable staff member at the desk. We loved the character of the hotel and just loved everything. The restaurant and breakfwe had was exceptional.

Everything was great, great location, and easy parking. The only slight issue was that we had a fly in the room that kept waking us up. The restaurant service was slow. (during breakfast) We and a few people had to get up to ask for more coffee and to get a check. The place was empty. They were too busy talking. We will be back

This is a nice, quaint place. It is very historical. You have to be careful walking, especially on the 2nd floor, because I think, there has been some settling and it is not always level. The Wi-Fi is questionable. It is not secure do we were constantly getting messages of warning and we had trouble connecting. I brought it up with the front desk, she said she was on it and it was fine. It wasn't. The other issue was the television. It is a nice flat screen TV but you have to watch it sitting on the bed. It was small. This place is in great location, close to shopping and other activities.

Loved that it was right on the Main Street near all the shops and the train station. It’s a really cute spot and both myself and my other half enjoyed staying there. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable, and having a restaurant there was just added comfort. Highly recommend!

My husband and I only stayed one evening but we loved it. It is most definitely a unique hotel very convenient. It was great having Broadway Grill connected to the property.

Parking was not always available. They did have other parking lots around the area which was fine but when we went to check out we had to get our car from one of the other lots. There is a spot for 15 minute check out but there was a car parked there and it was there overnight since we did see it. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk we were told people do that all the time. We told the desk they should do something about it. Wasn’t impressed with the dinner food or service. However breakfast was good.

Hi KathleenThank you for the comments. We apologize for the parking inconvenience. We do have sufficient parking for all of our guests- however you may have to walk a block. I'm glad you were able to find a spot. As far as the guest that parked in the loading zone overnight, yes that can happen-not everyone follows the rules. Generally, that would be one of the last check ins for the night and the front desk cannot always get out to at night to see who is parked in that space. I will go over this with our staff to see how we can do a better job monitoring this.DaveThe Innkeeper

Beautiful Inn/Perfect Location
The apple cider, cookies & coffee in the lobby was very welcoming. The room was clean & everything we needed was there. The food in the Grill was great & the old fashioned at the bar was delicious. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The location of the Inn & parking is perfect for walking the town & dropping off purchases. The Inn & the town is beautiful at night.

Our room was large, updated and clean! There is reserved parking which is great as we were there at a very crowded time. I highly recommend this Inn at Jim Thorpe.

I feel terrible giving this review but I need to be honest. This hotel is very old and tired. We prepaid to stay 2 nights but would have left early - otherwise. I could hear snoring from the room next door. Our room was dark and dingy. We do not recommend this property.

Check in and out was simple with no issues and very friendly staff. Loved the second floor balcony where we sat and rested after our day of adventures. Beautiful building! Great location, close to whatever you wanted to do. Have already told friends they need to go!!!
