    Interesting concept

A totally staff-free hotel, at least as far as the guests are concerned. Check in is via an ATM-like machine, and you are unlikely to see a single member of staff during your stay. I'm not bothered by that, but some might be... I stayed in room 67, which looks like its photos on the website. The kitchen has a fridge, a coffee machine, a sink and a hotplate. I would really have liked an ordinary kettle and a microwave (there is no oven at all), but you can't have everything! Breakfast is left by your door each morning, and consists of two bread rolls, two bagels and two chocolate muffins. Each day your fridge gets a plate with some sliced sausage, some sliced salami and processed cheese, and there will be some cereal (and milk) and various spreads. All very nice, but it gets a bit monotonous by the end of the week. You'll also get a newspaper, but if you don't read German it'll be no good to you. There doesn't seem to be any option to request a different newspaper or none at all, which is a shame. Other than that, what can I say? The bed is comfortable, with the usual European style twin duvets rather than one large one, the TV has 1,000 channels to choose from, and you've plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Oh, there is one criticism: switches. None of the light (or other) switches are marked, so it'll be days before you figure them out. I never did work out how to turn the bathroom heater (a large towel rail) on and off...

    4/5 Good

Sehr modern im Zentrum der Stadt. Aber alles nur über Automaten, keine Rezeption.
