"Our stay was great, friendly staff, rooms cleaned everyday. Buffet breakfast was good. Pool was good bud could do with a paint job as it made pool look dirty but it wasnt. Overall a 8 out of 10. "

"This is the second time I stayed at the cabin, but first time with friends. The interior is beautiful and has plenty of amenities, even some spices and foil. Everything was great. I would recommend bringing a fan if you stay in the upstairs bedroom (the box fan helped but it was still a little warm). The hot tub was relaxing and the fire pit was nice, even though I didn't get to use it this time. It's only 15 minutes from downtown Galena and the Piggly Wiggly. "The manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are safe and well cared for. Very clean and quiet. There are tiny little things I could pick on, but we were comfortable and happy and the price is a good value. I especially enjoyed the location, hot tub and the full sized coffeemaker in the room. "

"Nice place to stay. We didn't like that you rent out the pool so it was full of kids and families that were not staying at the hotel. We tried using the pool and hot tub but it was so loud with kids we left. One of the reason we stayed was so we could use the pool and hot tub. Kitchen lady was lovely!! Good breakfast."

"What a peaceful respite! Set in a lovely area, walking distance to the Apple Canyon Lake with a beach and restaurant, this was the perfect getaway for a family wedding weekend. The cabin is stunning and comfortable. Beautifully furnished, it had all of the amenities one could hope for in a vacation home."
