The rooms are spacious, good size balcony and would also be ideal for a long term stay, equipped with kitchenette and plenty of storage. The resort features a huge pool area with ample seating. "Great place with a beautiful location by the lake, and amazing gardens. We had wonderful days at Splendido. We would come back. But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). Staff at reception were kind and helpful). Overall, a good choice if you want to spend a few days in the beautiful Lago di Garda."

"Good location and friendly staff, especially Andrea on the bar. Breakfast was good quality and good variety. Pool is good. Room and bathroom had been refurbished. Beds were on the firmer side. Great location, with beaches and bars within 5 to 10 mins walk. Supermarket and Pharmacy similar distance. Bus to Sirmione Historical Centre was convenient. Though, the schedule did not prove the most reliable. Parking worked reasonably well, the underground car park is tight for large vehicles. We always managed to park on or, near the property. Our in room safe broke, 3 days into a 7 day stay. Staff tried to help, but couldn't fix. In room fridge didn't work, which would have been helpful for cold water. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider returning to this hotel."

"I loved the juicer machine that was present at breakfast, that was a great way to get your health kick in the morning. The coffee was also excellent. The availability of drinks and snacks at the bar was excellent. The location was very good, close enough to the town but far enough away to be quiet at night. The top of the flat, square showerhead in the bathroom needed a good dusting however. It would have been nice if there had been a coffee machine in the room or tea making facilities, especially for the price we paid for the room. The cleaning staff came every day and cleaned the room, they'd often have it done between the time we left for breakfast then came back to the room after breakfast, there'd be a nicely cleaned room which was great."
