Arrival was ok, easy to find with plenty of secure parking and friendly staff. Room quality was poor, it smelt of smoke and would stay here again.

Overall, we had a good 3 night stay. The room was big enough for our needs, and the bed was supercomfortable. There was a kettle in the room. The only problem for my partner, who loves watching night telly, was the lack of english language channels. Other than that all was good. There's a shopping centre, and few restaurants near the hotel.

Quiet stay but room AC wasn’t working!
It was nice, clean and quiet. However, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly so it was very hot. The room was also facing the sun most of the day so it became even warmer!

Convenient location for an overnight stay
Campaniles are always good. The parking is priority for me with a large vehicle and Campaniles always offer plenty of space to park As always the room was clean and functional, as was the bathroom. Ideal location near the motorway

Close to the Louvre at Lens. It was typical Campanile. Only criticism is bed was not large enough although to be fair myself and my wife are portly. Room could also do with improvements to draft proofing. Otherwise fine.ood value

Good place to stop for a night and visit Vimy
Coming from the Calais ferry It was hard to find with SAT NAV ( really need a full street address for hotels complete with house number - take note Hotels.com! ) but a lovely french man jumped in our car and directed us there! The lady at check in was friendly, the room was small but clean and beds comfortable...bathroom was all redone and modern. Good water pressure, lots of hot water, wifi ok etc. There isn't anything nearby so the hotel restaurant is your only choice unless you want to venture out again after a long day of driving ...we didn't.

This is one of the better Campaniles we have stayed in. Staff were excellent and welcoming. Rooms clean, warm and not tired like some. This is a great value stop for those on the way elsewhere. As usual, there is an onsite resturant but if is rather isolated and not near any other facilities as such. Good access from motorway and easy to find.

There are major road works in the area so the property was quite difficult to find. The food was OK but not as good as some other campaniles we have stayed at. We were also not allowed a pre dinner drink and as it was a beautiful evening and we wanted to sit outside it seemed a bit of a shame. Plenty of hot water and very comfortable bed

Easy location to get to entities to the Alps, but the room stinks of smoke. Noisy hotel, until midnight when the lorry repair place next door stops.

Super stopover!
Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room, cracked bathroom sink but everything else was fine! Chef was brilliant, steaks cooked to perfection and the chips/French fries/frites were freshly cooked and absolutely delicious, best we had for ages! Despite being very near the main road, couldn't hear any traffic noise! Great stopover!

Disappointed with Breakfast.
Hotel and evening meal was OK. Campanile hotels are all very similar. OK. Unfortunately I wasn't told of 9.00am finish time for breakfast. I had pre paid and arrived to eat at 9.15. No breakfast and no refund. I was offered a coffee though. The difference between Ireland and France is, a guest would always be given some type food especially after pre paying.

Not a fantastic hotel but a comfortable bed for the night, free secure parking & it has a decent restaurant on site. Not very pretty but a fairly quiet location. Good value for money if you you're just looking for an overnight stop.

A good, decent place to overnight
We stayed in several Campanile hotels over the course of our trip and this one was fairly typical - the room is adequately large, the beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom was complete, clean and of a decent size, and the parking was free and secure. While many Campanile h/motels are located in relatively remote parts of town, they all have a restaurant and the food and prices are quite reasonable. The Campanile hotels are a cut above the other big budget chain and are good value without being fancy. The staff at this one went out of their way to be helpful.

A good basic hotel, room was ideal for our circumstances. we had a problem with the door lock, as a result (we think) the room was not cleaned that day. On the edge of an industrial area so was quite noisy at times, however, we had no real concerns about this hotel and would stay there again.

Nice, renovated accommodations.
We stayed here just one night. The building and room that we stayed in had recently been renovated. There was a desk area, bed and closet area and a bathroom with a tub. For the most part everything appeared clean until we showered. Unfortunately the glass door meant to keep the water in the bathtub while showering did not work and I quickly created a huge puddle in the bathroom. We tried to mop this up with one of the white hotel towels which turned completely brown from mopping up the dark tiled floor. This was quite gross and led us to question the cleanliness of the rest of the floors. Other than this however the rest of the room really was clean. There was no dust on the closet shelves, the white sheets and duvet were stain free and crisp and the sink and toilet were obviously clean.

Exceeded initial expectations, even the meals
2 couples stayed 1 night in April to visit the Musée du Louvre-Lens. Hotel is away from town centre so car GPS was handy to find it. One room smelled of smoke, but the younger couple were soon allocated another upstairs - stairs at one end/room at the other end. Rooms were small motel-style but clean & bright, mostly quiet enough for sleep (apart from noise other guests & cars outside). We ate on-site for convenience: the food served at dinner was a pleasant surprise; buffet breakfast had good variety for the price. Overall, a good-value option for a stop-over.

We stayed here en route to Spain, having driven 5 hours to the tunnel this was a good place to stay for our first night, great location off the motorway with easy access back on, the only downside was the dawn chorus at 4:30 in the morning the upside was we were on the road by 5:30 !!
