My experience in the hotel whas not to good because me end my whife we faund couple cucarachas in the bathroom towels

Good location, reasonable price

Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Cons: A few thoughtful touches like water in the room or coffee in the breakfast area would have been nice.
Location: Close to shopping, restaurants and the night scene.
Good moderately priced hotel with adequate facilities. Minimalist - some bottled water in the rooms would be nice. Front desk staff were helpful but English was not their strong point. We had to leave before the complimentary breakfast and early morning coffee or juice would have been thoughtful. I'd stay again for the location.

Terrible smell

The hotel had terrible sewage and mold smell. We could not stay due to an asthma attack triggered by the mold. The hotel staff was very unhelpful.

good location

The staff was great but the room smell funny. It hard to discribe. It was was a good location with in walking distance of shopping centers. Just watch out for the hot dogs in the area. I had to see a doctor.

Pet Friendly, yes. Pet conveniences, No.

Although the Hotel was pet friendly, there was no grass area to take the dog. The four block walk to the park resulted in grass areas being fenced off. Our dog became most uncomfortable having been trained to only use grass areas. The parking area for the car was a block and a half from the hotel and the little grass growing along side the buildings between the course gravel was the only relief our dog could get.

Beautif getway!

Lovely place! Love the art and location is perfect! Room is rather dark since no windows but there are frosted openings on the doors that do help a bit. The customer service is excellent and the breakfast is light, yet delightful. I would return again but would request a room with more light and a window if possible.

Hotel Monte Leon

Stayed for 2 nights. Enjoyed the art gallery. The staff were very helpful, and tried to communicate with us in English. They made a great dinner suggestion and called taxis when we needed. The hotel was quaint and conveniently located to the central plaza. Easy walk.

Small friendly hotel in convenient location

Pros: A very good value for the price. Highly recommend.
Location: Very close to the main zocalo of the city. Great location!
My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was very nicely appointed with a large-screen TV, two large beds, modern furnishings and nice warm water in the shower. This pet-friendly room was complete with dog dish and dog bed! Although we were unable to partake of the complimentary breakfast because of our early morning flight, it appeared to be generous and fresh as noted from those who ordered room service (we didn't know to do so!). The staff were very helpful and friendly and Spanish speaking......no English that I heard. An added bonus...the hotel is just 3 short blocks from the beautiful square with its manicured trees and lawn and many outdoor restaurants. In spite of the location in the city center, it is exceptionally quiet and a peaceful respite.

Nice Place

Nice Hotel with a Great location. Unfortunately we got one of the small rooms #10 & it was a bit difficult moving around for the 2 of us & our luggage. Otherwise it was Perfect. Believe her name was Anna at the front desk. Most Helpful!!!

Doesn't smell like a rose!

Open the door to a cute lobby with a very friendly receptionist, she had all of our info ready to be filled out for our stay and greeted us by name. Rooms were very nice, dark because of no windows but comfortable. Lack of water pressure, hot water in the evening and a smell that can only be from a sewer, queered our stay. Even leaving the aircondishioner running couldn't get rid of the smell. Had thought we may stay 2 nights but couldn't tolerate the odour. Our receptionist directed us to a new little restaurant 2 1/2 blocks away called Entre Rio, tucked away, tiny, but the most marvellous meal we had on our entire trip.
