See it now before Oct 2017 as it will close!

Having stayed here in 2015 I knew what to expect. However I was disappointed that even when prompted it took more than 4 hours to make up the room! The 2.5 year renovation will be interesting! No word on whether the restaurants will stay open.

Beautiful castle like hotel. Great stay

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: Great decor and beautiful old charm
Location: Cathedral, square, and running trail. Part of San Santiago path.
Beautiful castle like hotel. Attached to old church. Excellent place for a stroll. A little walk to the central part of town. Great running trail behind the hotel. Restaurant was quite good if you can wait until 8:30pm when it opens

Step into the past..

Hotel was like a museum - a cultural experience. We were very impressed with the hotel - the foyer, the displays, the room was lovely -huge bed- and small balcony. Bathroom was good - no problems at all.

Camino on the doorstep

Posted May 10, 2017 on Hotels
Ideally located as the Camino passes in front of this lovely historical buidling originally built to shelter pilgrims. Quiet and calming as I wondered around the cloister and monastery with all the historical information displayed
