This hotel is a bit on the outskirts in a dull, residential area, next to the contemporary art museum, which has limited exhibitions and can be toured in 30 minutes. Besides that, there’s nothing of interest in the vicinity. Perhaps some rooms in this ‘luxury hotel’ offer luxury, but mine was ordinary at best, extremely plain without even a hot pot, like a room from the 70s or 80s with new carpet. Clerk was friendly with excellent English. Nonetheless, do yourself a favor and stay in the old town near the cathedral- lots of restaurants there and a few museums

Good place to stay in León
Overall a very good stay. Staff in general were very friendly and helpful. Good quiet location. Rooms are quite large and the hotels “Eco-standards” are excellent. The recycling bins in the foyer are an excellent idea. Breakfast buffet was excellent value at €8.50 if you booked at check-in. Just a minor issue with the air conditioning and I could not get the safe to work at all.

We are glad that you liked the hotel in general and that you mentioned some of the sustainability measures. The air conditioning is centralized and computer controlled. At the moment it connects automatically whenever the outside temperature is higher than 25ºC. Sometimes it may be that the room has been closed for more than 24 hours and if it gets a bit of sun it can be hotter but if you open the window a bit it cools down immediately.Best regards and until next time.Saludos cordiales. I was just happy to find accommodation along the Camino as it is becoming more and more difficult. Hotel was okay, I paid $200 CDN for one night - way too expensive. But, as I indicated, I was desperate for a bed for the night.

Very conveniently located hotel in quiet suburban area with free parking on the nearby surrounding streets. We had bikes rear mounted on a secure bike rack but beware we spotted someone tampering with them. We moved the car to the hotel underground garage which was a good size and only one level down so easy to access. Beds comfortable and room clean and tidy. Excellent buffet style breakfast.

Close to all the sites
We really enjoyed this hotel. It was located right next to a historic church, and its beauty took my breath away every time we walked outside. The price was reasonable, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was quite good, and the service was superb. Leon is a smallish, very walkable city, and the people were very approachable and friendly. Bring good walking shoes!

Decent hotel, good location only 15 minute walk into the centre. underground parking is tight and cost €12 per night. Thin walls. You can hear your room neighbours!

On tour through Spain staying primarily at Paradores Tryp was a second choice but proved okay Good location with free on street parking nearby, walking distance to all main sites and a good breakfast One issue was our original room was quite evidently used by smokers despite us booking a non smoking room Changed with no dramas as alternative rooms were available Suggest you double check your booking

A Good Place for Needed Rest
This was a three day layover on the Camino de Santiago. The TRYP was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet quite extensive, and the bathtub perfect for soaking tired feet. It's a bit of a splurge for a pilgrim, but well worth it if you need a few days rest off the trail. There were even a few English channels on the TV!

Loved TRYP
I love TRYP hotels since they are modern, clean, and the bedding is always amazing. This one is no different. I treated myself as I was on the Camino and the reception staff was amazing and super helpful.

Great modern hotel
Everything was modern, clean, comfortable. The hotel is located easily accessible to the roads entering town, and free street parking was available. It's a bit of a walk to the city center.

A tad disappointed !
Hotel is ok! Staff would not go out of their way to help! Seemed to have trouble smiling! The room was small and no decorations. Just tv ! Internet was ok. Bed was hard .

Great TRYP
My sister and I started our Camino cycle from this hotel. The staff were really helpful. Our bikes had been delivered there, which I thought was normal for this area. Turns out it wasn't! The staff didn't make any fuss about it. Great hotel, great breakfast. Would stay again

Modern hotel, but on edge of the city
Nice modern hotel, but located on edge of the city of Leon. It took about 25-30 minutes to walk into the old town center. Breakfast in the restaurant was OK, but the restaurant did not seem otherwise open. We paid to park in the garage, but probably could have found free parking on the street. The internet was OK
