Nice resort right in the middle of things.

Posted Jul 2, 2017
Pros: Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. TV and wifi free. Lovely landscaped gardens. Nice pool. Nice staff. Quiet. Close to town.
Cons: Undersells itself. Pre-publicity about hotel policies and facilities could be improved. Publicise discounts available in local stores.
Location: Walking distance to nearby town with shops, bars and restaurant. Train service. Small supermarket hidden behind petrol station.
Apartment complex right in the middle of prehistoric attractions of the lovely Valle Vezeres in the town of Les Eyzies. Although self catering more of a Hotel experience with cleaning change of linens etc on a regular basis rather than the more camping experience of other similar complexes I've stayed in the past. Seems to be run by only 4 people all of whom are friendly. Lucia and Laurant in reception etc have excellent English and are very helpful. If anything the resort undersells itself. There is a small breakfast area which we didn't use. Nice Pool. Secure car parking. Laundry on site with iron and ironing board to borrow.

Pros: Easy parking, could walk to shops Easley.
Cons: All good.
Location: Easy to find ,need a car to go further afield.
Being the only ones there it was nice and quiet. The view of the pre-history museum and rock shelter was great first thing in the morning. All in all great stay.

Helpful staff and peaceful surrounding

Quiet and peaceful environment. Very closed by to the ticketing office for caves visit. Very helpful staff, email me the detail to collect the keys in advance, even help to call my next hotel to arrange for late check in. Will return on next visit

vacation apartments more than a hotel

This is more for a vacation apartment than a night at a hotel for wear travellers. reception closes at 7 and so does the pool.

lovely location

The property was lovely, the rooms clean. Disappointed that in this day and age there was no free wi fi. We could have made better use of this nice property if we were staying more than one day.

Pros: Location
If you like rules and remember holiday camps you may be happy here. Everything is measured and controlled. The breakfast was portion controlled beyond belief and not worth half the price. Staff seemed frightened of management

Overnight stay to visit caves etc. Ideal for that altho' there are very good facilities for a longer stay. Short walk to village and good restaurants.Approx. 1k. to Haut de gaume cave - excellent if your interested in prehistory! Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were functional but well equipped.

This place is new, so everything was in great condition in a largish complex with a swimming pool and laundry onsite. It is a very easy stroll to the village of Les Eysies de Tayac where ther are some wonderful restaurants to choose from. In addition, it is an easy drive to all the beautiful places in the Vezere and Dordogne valleys, but you need a car to gaet there.
