“Prima voor 1 overnachting voor een vroege overtocht naar Engeland. De woonwijk erom heen is rustig. Het hotel en de kamer is gedateerd, maar nog acceptabel. De hond mag mee, ook in de ontbijtzaal. Het ontbijt was in orde. Beter dan bij de meeste goedkope (weg)hotels. Kwaliteit van de koffie kon wel beter. Zou fijn nog automaten komen met drinken en snacks. “I had to argue with the front desk over being charged for parking. The Expedia listing said parking was free. The front desk person kept trying to charge me for parking 3 euros. She refused to look at the listing, gave me a hard time and I stood my ground as politely as possible. The bathroom door had what looked like coffee or tea drip stains on it - like no one had cleaned it. There were no amenities to speak of. The sheet were scratchy.”

“We stayed at hotel 3 for one night, they gave us a ground floor room and it was okay for one night, parking is very good and the gate is opened 24 hrs, and I saw big rats and rabbits running around in the car park 3 times, maybe the hotel rubbish is not probably stored. Shower curtain is white but the bottom seams have turned yellowish (rather disgusting), so I would suggest using grey curtain to hide the yellow stains created by shampoo & shower gel. “The property is a short walk from from the train station. There isn’t an elevator, I was on the second floor. The property doesn’t allow checkin until after 5 pm. The staff kept my bags until then. There are restaurants nearby. There is also the beach and outdoor market area about 15-20 minutes walk. The duvet was very warm and bed suitable for a short stay. The place was peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and decent sized for 1-2 people.”

“This was a wonderful stay in every way. A last minute trip and this place was so close to Calais yet felt very much off the beaten track. The restaurant is excellent and the physical space beautifully presented. The staff were all very welcoming and professional.
