family oriented with pool and hot tub

Posted Nov 17, 2016
Pros: decent rate and easy to get to
Cons: could use a bit of updating, but not too bad
Location: A&W right next door. Really easy to access from west end of Hwy 3
Kids like the pool with spiral slide. Nice and warm. Decent breakfast setup. Good for family trips.

Great place to stay while attending event in town

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Pros: Needed a hotel for just 1 night while in town for sports event. Had my very active 12 year old boy with me, he loved the pool! Also breakfast was great. Room was small and older, but clean. Great value for the price.
Cons: Small room, hardly enough space for our bags and us, the wifi was super slow and almost impossible to get to work at all.
Location: some fast food nearby, walking distance to mall. Lethbridge isn't all that big, so easy to get around (car recommended)

Days Inn nice people & great stay

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Location: From Calgary it was one of the closest places from the highway and loved the view of the valley.
Loved the nice people and would stay again as it was a nice place for quick stay. Enjoyed the free breakfast, hot tub, comfy bed. We brought our dog for an extra $10, and felt it was a great deal for the price. See you again.

Good thing for the waterslide and pool.

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Pros: The waterslide/pool/hot tub.
Cons: It needs updating in the rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast could take a step up too.
Location: Right by Lethbridge Lodge which has a restaurant and pub. A&W is in the parking lot but don't eat there, they market doubt and overcharge.
The rooms are old and smell as such. Even though we had a non-smoking room it was pretty smelly of smoke. Old smoke. And very small, like a motel, not my expectation of Days Inn. The breakfast was also a bit of a let down. Just the minimum of what I see at breakfast included hotels, not the average. The pool was great. Nice temperature. The waterslide was terrific too, if you like them fast. Hot tub was nice and hot. So it is old and needs updating and was not spic and span. Sometimes I find old looks like dirty so it might just be the age of the bathrooms too. I hope this sets your expectation. We had a great sleep and the kids loved the pool. It just is not a place to walk into the room and go heyy, this is nice.

Needs Renovation

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: The hotel was very clean and fairly quiet despite being full.
Although the hotel is well located to most everything, it is in need of renovation. The bathroom in particular had an old tub that had been resurfaced but was peeling making it not nice to bathe in. room was very small and the parking..access to the hotel was a bit of an issue.

Demolish and start again!

Posted Mar 15, 2016
The hotel was falling to pieces, scruffy and broken and ripped furniture! Extremely small room, door frame looked like it had been kicked in!! Never again!

Good for price

Posted Feb 4, 2016
The rooms are tiny but do the trick. The pool was great! The water temperature was warm which is always a bonus. The free breakfast was good. It consisted of waffles, hashbrowns, sausage, boiled eggs, toast, muffins, cereal and oatmeal. When I booked on Expedia it said it was 1km from the Enmax centre, this is not true. It's more like 8-10km away. Still relatively quick to get there but not as close as we expected.

Hotel with unique layout, close to many amenities

Posted Jan 31, 2016
This was a surprising stay. The pool was located in the middle of the hotel courtyard where there were live and artificial plants around. The location was great, staff was helpful. This hotel has a very homey feel. We would stay again.

Nice view BUT with no heat it was not a pleasant s

Posted Jan 13, 2016
We should have been notified that there was a problem with the heating system. If we had to cancel our reservations, there were requirements we had to follow, likewise, seeing there was a problem at the motel, common courtesy would have been to notify me that our rooms would be cold! Also, we had to sit at the breakfast table in our winter coats.
