Stopover in Moscow, Idaho

Posted May 5, 2017
Pros: Location was good, room was clean and quiet and staff would friendly. For an overnight stay it was perfect.
As part of a long road trip we stopped in Moscow, Idaho. Overall the hotel was decent although it appears that they are undertaking some extensive renovations. If you are staying over the next several months I would just inquire on the status.

Thank you for Choosing Laquinta Inns & Suites Moscow for your stop over. We are getting ready the middle of June to start our Lobby Renovations. They should be done by the end of July.

Clean room, comfortable bed, overall good stay

Posted Apr 30, 2017
The room was mostly updated except for the heating/cooling system, which barely worked - took about 20-30 minutes for it to kick on. The shower water pressure was also a bit low. Complimentary Overall, fine for an overnight stay. Close to WSU Pullman - about 10-15 minutes away. Near a Walmart, Applebees, and a few other fast food chains.

Good option close to WSU

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Rooms were clean and modern, front desk staff very friendly, and good food selection provided at breakfast. Only small complaint was inability to get on wifi at times because max number of allowed users were already online, even at 11 pm.

Echoing Court

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: It had a vacancy when all other hotels in Moscow were full, and now I know why.
Cons: Sound proofing the rooms. Water pressure. Water quality. There ware not cups in the bathroom and we ended up using a paper coffee cup.
The door to the room faced the interior atrium that contains the community TV, eating area, front door and desk. The door to our room had a large gap at the bottom and the room was poorly insulated from sound, letting all the noise of the atrium TV, clanking dishes for morning service, people eating, and talking as the came and left. The noise was almost continuous from the time we checked in to the time we checked out the following day. To make the noise issue worse, the shower head had a piercing whistle that would rise and fall as the water pressure grew and fell, which it did a lot during my wife's shower and then during my shower. As more people woke and took showers the water pressure became very poor. We both felt slimy after our showers, as if the water was over treated. If we had been staying more than one night I would have requested a different room due to the noise. For the amount we had to pay for the room, I expected a higher quality environment. Our overall experience was very disappointing and we won't stay there again.

Noisy room, maintenance issues

Posted Apr 3, 2017
Pros: Helpful staff. Clean room.
Cons: Excessive noise in the morning. Door that didn't latch properly.
Location: Very close to the University of Idaho campus, within easy walking distance.
Our room was quite noisy. Lots of plumbing noises from other rooms and some very loud mechanical noises early in the morning. Its too bad, really, because the hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Our room also had a problem with the door latching and locking properly. It was left unsecured after the cleaning staff came through. Fortunately, nothing was missing from the room, but it was disconcerting.

Great Boutique hotel close to Univ. of Washington.

Posted Mar 30, 2017
Pros: Clean, comfortable. European style modern with modern amenities. Efficient. Perfect location for our needs.
Cons: T.V. guide.
Location: We were visiting Univ. of Washing and this is just a few blocks away. We drove due to a hurt leg, but could easily have walked - 10 maybe 15 minutes
Room is comfortable, clean, has modern amenities. Staff answered all our questions and gave tips and advice.
