I stayed twice, either side of a rafting trip and despite having had to book at the full rate, still managed to get a dismal experience. The room wasn't ready at the 3pm published check-in time, so I stood in reception, having just come off the river, until just after 4pm. It was busy, but for an event (rodeo) that presumably hadn't been kept secret until the last minute. The staff, while polite, struggled to answer questions. The room was fine, but noisy. The parting shot of whether I had ASKED for breakfast vouchers, which had never previously been mentioned, just as I left, pretty much wrapped things up.
