Nice Hotel

Poor Customer Service

Front desk staff were very unprofessional. The front desk staff whoever answered my phone canceled my reservation as No Show even though I called and let them know that I will be coming in one day late. And when I get there to check in, the other front desk staff was just telling me " Your reservation is canceled because of No Show. We all sold out for today." He was unhelpful and even didn't apologize. I was expected little more because this hotel is one of the Marriott group. I will contact manager and will see what he has to say.

Clean and quiet

Location: mall, other shopping
Staff was very nice. Room was spotless. Felt safe and comfortable. We had a change of plans and the front desk worked with us over reservation issues. Very pleased

Our stay was very pleasant. We were in the area for Thanksgiving with family. Our check-in clerk was Nat and he was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Failure to inform us ruined our stay!

Check BEFORE you pay. We booked this hotel for the indoor pool and spa. Our daughter was in a softball tournament, and we specifically choose rooms based on if we can get her in a hot tub or pool after four to six games per day to relax her muscles. I specifically told this to the front desk clerk as she is checking us in and taking our credit card payment. She never said a word about the pool being closed for deep cleaning. It was only after paying, going to the room, getting settled and coming to the pool that we see a tiny little sign on the door in chicken scratch that says "closed for cleaning". Not once did the clerk bother to tell us the pool was closed as I was going on and on about it at check in. We would have gone elsewhere. They made sure we were stuck there before we found out. All I got then was a "we take your comfort seriously". No apology, no offer to move us to a sister hotel (as there were several Marriotts within a one mile radius of each other with a working indoor pool), nothing. I can tell how much we meant to them.

Do Not clean the pool area on Saturday!

Pros: Room was spacious and clean.
Cons: The spray nozzle for the shower can really only be used as a handheld, otherwise is too high or too low.
I chose this hotel over many in the area due to it having an indoor pool and spa tub. I was going to be at a conference all day, standing for over 6 hours, and I knew my back would be very sore and I was wanting a soak in the spa tub when I got there. I didn't check in until after 9pm and was exhausted. When I checked in I asked about the spa, I was told it was closed for cleaning but could use the one at the Courtyard next door. I got to my room, changed, went to the Courtyard and was shown the outdoor pool area with no hot tub. Unable to get back in, I had to walk back to the front, confirmed they do not in fact have a spa, and went back to the Fairfield. The front desk clerk had been sure they had one. Fortunately the bed was good and I was able to use a heating pad (which I had brought as a backup) and my back felt okay the next morning. But closing the pool area for cleaning on a weekend is just foolish and poorly thought out.

Clean, Comfortbale, Safe

Check-in service was exceptional! The pool was out of service but we were offered a "pass" to access any of the other pools in the same area (there's about 5 to choose from, most Marriot brand)....we didn't have time to accept the offer. Breakfast was HOT & TASTY especially the option of pumpkin spice waffles!!
