Do Not clean the pool area on Saturday!
Posted Oct 17, 2016
I chose this hotel over many in the area due to it having an indoor pool and spa tub. I was going to be at a conference all day, standing for over 6 hours, and I knew my back would be very sore and I was wanting a soak in the spa tub when I got there. I didn't check in until after 9pm and was exhausted. When I checked in I asked about the spa, I was told it was closed for cleaning but could use the one at the Courtyard next door. I got to my room, changed, went to the Courtyard and was shown the outdoor pool area with no hot tub. Unable to get back in, I had to walk back to the front, confirmed they do not in fact have a spa, and went back to the Fairfield. The front desk clerk had been sure they had one.
Fortunately the bed was good and I was able to use a heating pad (which I had brought as a backup) and my back felt okay the next morning. But closing the pool area for cleaning on a weekend is just foolish and poorly thought out.
