“Absolutely beautiful well maintained property. Amazing host and hostess, friendly and it was a joy to share a bit of our weekend get away with them both. I can't wait until next time...ohhh yeah...the breakfast(s) were spectacular!!”

“Beautiful grounds, only a block from downtown Versailles. (highly recommend the nearby Black Squirrel for dining). Easy free parking. The building seems a reconfigured meeting hall. No on-site personnel, but cellular comms quick. Room spacious, clean, well lit, comfy bed, very basic amenities, nice bathroom if quirky taps on bath/shower. Only two towels but extras delivered on request within the day. No room service. The door handle pulled away from its moorings on our last day but a……

“There was no breakfast, talked to the staff by phone to obtain access number for lock. Had no in-person contact. Room o but shared bathroom did not have a woring overhead light.”

“Carol fixed us delicious, variety-filled breakfasts. We were in a group of 6 and able to visit outside around a fire, on a porch or inside in large comfortable sitting rooms.”

“Met the staff in the afternoon as she drove up and made sure we had access code to lock. When we asked about the breakfast, which was listed on the Expedia details, she said there was no breakfast. She did check back later in the early evening if we needed anything, we did not.”

“The room was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable—just what I needed for a quick stop on my way through and MUCH better than some cheap hotel. The host was very welcoming, with a small gift and snacks. It was a pleasant experience! ”

“The house was beautiful! Parts of it were built in 1880 with very high ceilings. The kitchen was modern. The pool was very clean and the pool area was really nice. Our hosts very kind and accomodating. We might stay with them next summer.”
