Never again...

The bathroom sink was updated and there wasn't any mold, but those are the only positives about this stay. The non-smoking room smelled of stale cigarettes and the overall room was extremely depressing.

Old property but staff made up for it

All the staff was very friendly. I was there three nights and the room was cleaned and restocked every day. I had an issue with the card swipe on the door a couple of times but the maint man was there quickly and handled the problem

Hotel was ok, it was dated but clean.

I stayed 5 nights and first few days were ok but the last 3 my room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Ok to Stay

Value for the money. Pet friendly meant lots of barking dogs.

Nicest Motel I've stayed in

Firstly, I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of motels (I prefer hotels). BUT, for being what it is, it was the nicest motel I've stayed in! The price is great, the staff was friendly and the room was exactly what I needed to visit friends in town. I also love that they are pretty friendly!!

Great beds!

We checked in late and checked out early so we did not use any real services. I did request a daybed when I made the reservation and when I called to confirm. No daybed was brought to our room so we made due just fine. The beds were very comfortable. The outside stairs were quite dirty so I was pleasantly surprised that the room was still very clean and comfortable for our sleep needs.

Cons: Further maintenance on room needed.
Location: Sergeant's Mess - restaurant was a hidden surprised. Used a 10% discount - total meal was under $20.
Expedia travel reservation - won't use them again.

My stay

Checking in and out was a breeze with friendly staff. A couple of noticeable things about my stay was limited parking for rooms if you happen to check in late at night. The room was good for the price I paid, however I did notice the inside of the shower curtain needed to be cleaned as there was build up of some kind there. Also one of the comforters on one of the beds had a small hole near the foot of the bed. Overall I would recommend staying as it close by to several attractions in Kentucky.
