I presented my printout from Expedia (2 nights lodging) & was immediately told they do not have my registration. I said you need to look further, this is pre-paid. I have a receipt that says NO CONFIRMATION REQUIRED. He said again no reservation for me. I requested he call a manager. When the manager arrived he asked the employee the problem - & the employee handed him my receipt. The manager went to a small card file, pulled out a paper & proceeded to chew the employee out for not knowing what he was doing. The manager then acknowledged me & handed me a 3x5 card to complete vehicle info. Both continued to argue over how to do the front desk job. Making my daughter very uncomfortable. We went to our room & found the following: the room was very very cold (outside temp 32), heater was OFF, I turned it to 90 degrees it ran all night & never reached 70, we were both very cold. There was a used band aid wrapped around a NON working light fixture, the bedspreads had cigarette holes in them, the thin blankets had human hair tangled into the blankets. The towels (2) were thin, not white & scratchy, I question how clean they were. It was 11:30 at night, we had been traveling since 8 am - or I would have left & the fact that it was pre-paid with no refund. The door had gaps you could see outside top & bottom. The next morning we left with no intentions of returning. Free breakfast was canned OJ, coffee & cinnabun. We stayed that evening in a Baymont - luxary and amazing.
