The good news, response to requests for housekeeping was fast. The bad news: had to make lots of requests. One towel per person, one shampoo etc. a very pedestrian hotel in design. Nothing special

Don't judge a book by it's cover.Posted May 2, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel foyer is very impressive, the rooms are spacious, it's in a great location with easy parking, and the customer service was good overall (although it took a long time to get extra towels to our room). The pool was nice, but we wish there had been a hot tub. But the appearance was better than the reality. The internet was on and off (mostly off), and we heard other guests complaining as well. Our bathtub wouldn't drain and the towels are paper thin. The TV was poor quality and the remote barely worked. The beds were full size, not queen. And there was a lot of siren noise.

Too noisyPosted Apr 29, 2015 on Hotels
Noisy place to stay. Can hear cars, fire trucks, police cars every night! Walls are thin. Very disappointed. Woke up every half hour and so did my husband. Won't stay here again

Poor ValuePosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
I was in Town for a Conference, the Conference Hotel ws sold out, so I looked for a hotel that was close by. The Hyatt was across the street, but because it was the Weekend for Trials for the Derby, the Hotel had raised their rates through the roof. This was a very poor value for what I was charged. The Toilet leaked,(they did fix it)but the room was so small compared to the Holiday Inn Express I stayed in the night before in Louisville, for half the price. I would never stay there again, nor would I reccmend it to any one.

Great experience. My only complaint is that the room service is too slow.

Hotel fine, but I was not thrilled by room locatioPosted Apr 27, 2015 on Hotels
I paid 250 a night for a regular room, and when I checked in found that they had put me in a room which looked out on the bar-restaurant. This made it dark, and at night a bit noisy. Since I had to spend a lot of time in the room working, I really wanted a brighter and quieter room. The hotel was sold out, and I was told nothing could be done. I would say: if you care, try to get a promise of a room in another part of the hotel.

Very Very Bad customer servicePosted Apr 27, 2015
Cons: Please educate your staff specially this overnight supervisor about the housekeeping staff timings and what is the meaning for "Confirmed" booking.
I had booked a double bed room for 2 nights and the reservation was made in Nov 2014. for Apr 24-26/2015. When I asked for room I was told "No rooms available". I was shocked to here that. I had a "Confirmed " booking from Expedia. I was asked to go and spend the night in a cheap "Howard Johnson, in Nicholasville KY" about 10 miles from Hyatt, Lex, KY. The supervisor asked me to come back the next morning @ 8:00 AM and my room would be ready. I reached Hyatt @ 8:20 Am the next day, now there is new person at the front desk and she says the housekeeping guys will start their duties @ 9:00 AM. This shows that the overnight manager/supervisor does not know when the housekeeping will start. I was asked to wait in the lobby for 1hr 40 mts and @ 10AM I got a room. Saying "Sorry" was not the solution to my issue. I needed a "room" which was "confirmed" 6 months ago thats it. It is the duty of the hotel call center to call the guest who has the "Confirmed" reservations and make sure that they are coming and staying in their hotel. Specially during the busy weekend. Also please educate your staff specially this overnight supervisor about the housekeeping staff timings. Remaining all was good.
