OK, but just.

I was in the area for a job interview; therefore, I did not want to spend a lot of money. I got a very inexpensive rate. This property is not one I would take my family to, but as a single traveler needing an inexpensive place to sleep, this minimally suited my purposes.
The important thing is that the bathroom and sink area were just fine. Only one cigarette burn on the edge of the tub. The bed was OK. There was no alarm clock or box of Kleenex. The phone was an old fashioned touchtone phone. I called to leave a wake up call but no one answered. The room heater was a little finicky. The AC was OK but the heater took a little while before it came on.
The floor was vacuumed, although the carpeting was old and stained. The wallpaper is peeling and one of the lights was out. There were a couple of cigarette burns on the bedspread.
There was a TV in the room but no guide to what channels were available.
The gentleman at the desk checked me in efficiently and politely.
