bugs, leaking a/c green pool smelly workout roomPosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Looks on outside, room looked good until you look up at ceiling
Cons: Scrape ceilings peeling off and redo
Location: Lots nearby - good area
bugs, leaking a/c green pool smelly workout room - staff filling in for regular staff doesn't speak English and did not keep the breakfast area stocked as didn't know how (waffles, gravy, eggs, etc). Like Pulling teeth to get toilet paper or shampoo from foreign born staff. Bring Febreeze or some STRONG spray if you want to work out and definitely an anti-bacterial to use work out equipment - stinks so badly, didn't go in! No towels for work out room or pool that could be seen but pool was so so so green it was scary and this is after weeks of straight sunshine.. Recommend always having an American born on staff at all times for communication/updat4es needed for standard acceptable cleanliness levels.

We have stayed here many times. The service was pleasant, and the facilities are getting worn, but still acceptable.

Just what we neededPosted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: The indoor pool, the location, clean rooms
Cons: Biscuits and gravy for breakfast!
Location: Cattleman's Cafe is great
Nice hotel right on the main street. The room was nice, not very new but very clean and just what we needed after a long drive. We made sure to get into the pool, the water was a bit cool, but very refreshing. Fantastic cafe (Cattleman's Cafe) right across the street.

Close to What We WxpectedPosted Jul 31, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was close to what we expected. We were staying one night as we traveled back to Albuquerque. The kids wanted a hotel with a swimming pool but the pool was cold and somewhat cloudy. The rooms were small (as expected) and the walls and ceiling were thin so we could hear what was happening in the hall and upstairs. Fortunately, the guests upstairs settled down before it became too late. The front desk did have cookies (from a bag) and lemonade. The wireless Internet was strong and consistent. The A/C worked great. We didn't have the breakfast as we went to the Pancake House in the morning but the spread looked like something like most all hotels have these days. I believe we will stay somewhere else as there are plenty of hotels that offer just as much at or below the same price.

I just need to correct my mistake from previous posting. I misnamed the manager at the hotel as Sarah. Her name is ROSA...a great help for my travels. She deserves a raise!

Very understanding with reservationPosted Jul 20, 2015 on Hotels
We were in Liberal for a college baseball tourney. This hotel was booked for the good price we paid. I felt as if this hotel was worth more than what we paid! Very clean (I cannot comment on the pool because we did not use it), quiet, and very comfortable beds. When we booked the room, we intended on staying for 2 nights. The baseball game for the second night had been cancelled. I explained to Sara (the manager) while checking in that we would be staying for only one night, but knew we were obligated to pay for the second night because we had passed the cancellation deadline. She told me she would not charge us for the second night's stay. She is an angel in my eyes! I would definitely stay again.

sleepless in Super 8Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: convenience off of the highway
Cons: not sure
Location: nice cafe across from the hotel
After a 750 mile drive, we arrived and were hoping for a peaceful nights rest before resuming our trip home. At 2:00 in the morning, we were awakened by someone in the room next door attempting to break in through the adjoining door which was locked. It continued for 3-4 minutes before they gave up but then left us in a sleepless mode for the rest of the night. Management did agree to giving us a discount for our inconvenience yet I have not seen any credit on my credit card yet. Probably a nice place to stay but we had a less than desirable experience.
