Beautiful setting with loads of wildlife. We saw lots of birds (including toucans), 3 different types of monkeys (howler, white faced and spider), squirrels, butterflies, agouti and coati. The cabins were well designed but a little bit dated and worn - but the beds were very comfortable.
Nice place to stay.

We came back after a great stay last year. We found more to offer than last year such as the coffee tour and pottery demo. Enjoyed both. The spa is the greatest attraction here though- it's a nice ride back through forest to the spa- it's very remote- but it's incredible. The pools are great, different temps, mud baths, etc.
Had breakfast included- it was perfect with all the American and Tico style dishes. Had dinner buffet- it was pretty good quality- especially good value.

We chose Hotel Boyeros because of the secure parking and we weren't disappointed. Parking is accessible by key card only and there is a security guard. One of the reasons we came to Liberia was to do some banking and this hotel is within walking distance of all major banks. There was a big mix up when we arrived as to what room we were in and getting the key cards to work. I requested a King bed and ended up with two Doubles and a Twin. Also a little more information when checking in would have been nice, such as the internet password and the hours and location of breakfast.
