Buyer Beware
We have stayed here before and were looking forward to staying this time, but unfortunately we got an email the morning we were to stay that due to plumbing problems we were moved to another location. We picked Villa Angelica because it was walking distance from the vaporetto. The hotel they moved us to (Villa Albertini) was nice but completely out of the way and NOT walking distance from the boat. We are lucky we had family who were able to drive us. Based on other reviews, Villa Angelica has done this before. This is just a "Buyer beware."

Unfortunately after a long period of time in which Villa Angelica was closed due to Covid issues, once reopened almost immediatly we had this plumbing problem. We prefered to change you to another hotel rather than giving you an awful stay. By the way Villa Albertina is only 15 minutes by walk from the boat station. Only 6 minutes of difference from Villa Angelica. So not so far away like you stated.

Great location, cozy rooms
Staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was lovely and secure (gate). The room was cozy, with nice oceanic decorations and breakfast is served in a lovely garden area.

My experience
This hotel didnt have a room for us when we went but they arranged for an alternate accommodation at a different location. So i dont have any idea of the rooms etc. That was no doubt an inconvenience. But we did fine at the new location. Wish they arranged transport to the new hotel instead of leaving us high and dry !

I stayed at the Angelika with a couple of friends. Walking up to the hotel, we were impressed by its quaint charm.the hotel was quiet and clean and the staff was courteous.the staff did not speak English, but we did not find this to be a problem.

Berry conveniently located
5 minute's walk to S.M.Elizabetta Actv stop. 5 minute walk to the public beach. Buying the multi-day actv ticket is very economical. We stayed for 5 days but got tickets for 7 days and it was worthwhile including round trip bus to airport cost €58. Don't forget to scan your ticket before boarding. There's random ticket checks and If not scanned there is a fine. Renting 4-wheel bicycle is a lot of fun riding 3 people. Don't forget mosquito repellent since the windows don't have screens.

We stayed at the Villa Angelica for three nights. The hotel is on Lido which is about a 15 minute boat ride to Venice. The hotel is located less than a ten minute walk from the boat stop. It is on a quiet street. It is also near the beach area of Lido. Around a five minute walk. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a double bed, table and chairs, tv, AC, and a minibar. There was a small bathroom with a shower in it. We both slept well and the hotel was quiet during the night. Breakfast is served out in the garden area and consisted of a buffet of bread, cheese, ham, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and croissants. It was all nice and fresh. We didn't see much in the way of staff at the hotel. There was normally someone at the desk in the morning but we rarely seen anyone after that. The owner doesn't speak much English but we got by ok. We stayed in this hotel because staying in Lido was working out a lot cheaper that staying on Venice. It's a wee bit of an inconvenience having to go and get the boat but it was a nice contrast to Venice. It has a nice atmosphere and wide open streets and its not as busy. Lido also has some nice bars, restaurants and shopping facilities all within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Angelica and thought it was a good base for seeing Venice and the surrounding islands. We would be happy to return here to stay again in the future.

Fantastic Service
Whenever I go to Venice, I stay in Lido as it is more affordable than staying on the main island. It is very convenient via the water bus. Villa Angelica is very much like staying in a guesthouse. It is not like staying in a hotel. The room was cozy but a little worn down. I was skeptical at first, because it wasn't terribly comfortable and the room was quite cold even with the heat on. However, we had sufficient hot water, and the woman running the villa brought a very large breakfast to our room every morning. That breakfast was such a great way to start the day. She was a fantastic host and very helpful, especially if you speak a little Italian.

Stayed here for 4 nights in late May 2013. With the exception of a wardrobe that appeared built for giants our room was simply furnished, clean and adequate for our needs. Breakfast - again simple but adequate - was included and served outside on a small terrace. This hotel is excellent value, and staying on the Lido gives a welcome break from bustling Venice and offers a contrasting atmosphere to appreciate too. There are plenty of local restaurants and bars on the Lido too and Venice is only a water bus ride away and in season they are really v regular to and from Lido from v early to at least midnight. Buses can be v busy at peak hours and the trip to the rail station takes best part of an hour. The Lido beach is mostly 'owned' by big hotels, there is a public beach (populated with regularly spaced bar tables!), but this has specific opening hours....don't plan on a romantic walk at sunset! We enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely Hotel in Venice
The hotel is on Lido Island, but was easily reached by vapereto which is covered in the 7€ ticket for 24hours. The rooms were very pleasant and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great B&B in Beautiful Lido, A Great Deal
My husband and I used expedia to find a place to stay in the Lido part of Venice that was reasonably priced (this was a steal), easily accessable from the Vaporetto (water bus), and still very convienient to the "main" attraction of Venice. We booked 5 nights at Villa Angelica, and were happy to find LIdo has a tropical/resort feeling that is welcoming if your looking to relax. Villa Angelica had small, but adequate rooms, with television, phone, and FREE INTERNET. The price also includes a complementary breakfast which we ordered, either to our rooms or outside in a very home-like and nice garden area. We found the food to be good (and food around here is pricey, so free is always a plus). Great service. Always a smiling and welcoming reception. The rooms were always clean, and the property was well maintained. The only down-sides were (1) the beds were not huge, (2) the rooms weren't huge either, and (3) the decor was a bit dated with the curtains and bedding. Other than that, excellent! I would recommend staying here if you want an authentic Italian home-like atmosphere, the convience of the beach and Venice, and like saving money in a very expensive area. For the price, this is hard to beat.

B&b come in hotel!
Elena ci ha accolti a Villa Angelica in maniera molto cordiale. Ci ha anche lasciato il suo numero di telefono privato per ogni eventualità. La struttura non è nuova, ma sia la camera da letto che il bagno erano davvero molto pulite(difficilmente faccio la doccia a piedi nudi in hotel per paura dello sporco, ma qui mi sono sentito totalmente tranquillo nel farlo). Tra l'altro, a differenza di molti altri b&b, la pulizia della camera qui viene fatta ogni giorno e gli asciugamani anche possono essere cambiati ogni giorno, a discrezione del cliente. La colazione è pari a quella di un piccolo hotel, con tutto quello che, a mio parere è necessario trovare sul banco di un buffet della colazione che si rispetti(sempre pensando che stiamo parlando di un b&b). Il prezzo di un b&b(a Venezia) con la qualità di un piccolo hotel. Torneremo a Villa Angelica nella nostra prossima gita a Venezia.

A very friendly staff- especially Taya
The staff was very friendly. When we arrived Taya was very helpful and made us feel like we are guests on her own house. She gave us a lot of information about Venice and the Lido. Villa Angelica is very ne’er the center and in the middle of the way between the convention center and the vaporetto.

期待していたよりかは良かったです。マダムも対応が丁寧で明るい方でした。駅から遠くないのに周りが静かです。気になるところといえばアメニティがシャンプーと石鹸のみというところ。イタリアでは普通なのかも知れませんが、洗顔料と化粧落とし、歯ブラシと歯磨き粉、ドライヤーもできれば持って行った方がいいと思います。朝ごはんは女性だったら残せるくらいにたくさん出してくれます。飲み物も二種類頂けました。安いところで選んでいたので、特に困ったことはなかったですし満足です。

Für den Standard sehr gut ausgestattet. Frühstück abwechselungsreich. Das Personal sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, suchte immer Kontakte zu den Gästen. ca. 12 min zum öffentlichen Strand und 7 min zum Hauptstrasse bzw. Zentrum.

L'hôtel est bien situé, entre la plage et le vaporetto mais pas très facile à trouver. Nous y sommes passé deux fois devant sans le voir. C'est une villa transformé en hôtel dans un quartier résidentiel très calme, mais proche, malgré tout, d'une rue piétonne animée et de quelques bons restaurants. C'est un endroit coquet où le petit déjeuner se prend à l'extérieur sous la tonnelle. Seuls petits soucis la clim un peu bruyante et la difficulté à poser nos affaires de toilettes dans la salle de bain. La responsable est très sympathique et mérite de faire un petit effort pour parler italien car elle ne parle pas français.

5 nuits passées dans cet hôtel au calme très joli bâtiment et bel environnement. Accueil très sympathique, petit déjeuner servi en chambre à notre heure. Bémol le bruit on entend trop bien les "voisins"

Réservation pour 4 personnes (deux adultes et deux enfants) et seulement 3 lits . Lit supplémentaire possible moyennant un supplément de 20€ par jour. Grosse surprise en arrivant! Et pas moyen de négocier . L'hôtel est propre et calme par contre petit déjeuner dehors même par 10°c c'est un peu dur! Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de salle de réception . Les chambres sont trop petites pour le prendre convenablement. Au niveau de la salle de bain des aménagements seraient les bien venus : il n'y a pas une seule étagère ni placard pour pouvoir poser ne serai ce qu'une petite trousse de toilette. A 4 avec tout sur le minuscule rebord du lavabo c'est vraiment très juste. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel pour une famille.

Visit Biennale Venice
The hotel is situated at 5 minutes walking distance from the main water boat (vapporetto) station Santa Maria Elisabetta, so ideal to make boat trips to any place in Venice, e.g. 15 minutes to reach Piazza San Marco, 10 minutes to Giardini. The 'lady of the house', Elena, is extremely friendly and concerned about your wellbeing; the breakfast is very nice and full choices of bread, yoghurt, cakes, eggs etc. Only downside is that you have to park your car a few streets away, but there is an unloaidn and loading spot in front of the hotel gate.

Skrabet hotel med altfor små værelser.
Hotellet opfyldte formålet: Et sted at sove og morgenmad inden man skulle af sted. Værelserne var alt for små, og udstyret meget skrabet. Værtinden gjorde sit bedste, men det levede ikke op til forventningerne til et hotel på Lidoen.

Bien jusqu'à un problème de "battant de wc cassé" qu'on a voulu nous mettre sur le dos et nous faire payer( cassure due à l'usure.... charnière en plastique pour une chambre familiale ... avec passage fréquent peu appropriée ...!) et que nous avons enfin pu éviter... sinon espace de la chambre pour 4 .... très petit ... idem salle de bain.. Sinon propreté et déco de cette villa bien ...

Chambre propre et confortable, les murs sont un peu fins si vous avez des voisins bruyants. Petit déjeuner correct mais pas très copieux amené dans la chambre (très bien et un minibar permet de stocker deux trois suppléments achetés au supermarché du coin). Très bien situé (10 minutes de la plage, 10 minutes du vaporetto). Personnel très sympathique (on a travaillé un peu notre italien).

리도섬이라 멀어서 걱정했는데 생각보다 찾아가는게 힘들진 않았습니다. 조식은 빵크로아상요구르트쨈우유커피 등이고 딱 하나 아쉬운점 방음이 너무 안되더라구요~ 근처에 빌라 큰 마트도 있고 위치는 좋아요~ 여름에 해안가 가기에 좋을듯!

Da holdet ligger på øen Lido, er der lidt lang transporttid over til selve Venedig by (45 min). Med børn var det rigtig dejligt, at villaen lå tæt på et supermarked (300 m) og øens eneste offentlige strand (700 m). Da vi tjekkede ud, kunne vi sætte vores bagage i receptionen og gå frem og tilbage og hente ting i taskerne. Vi savnede dog, at der var et toilet vi kunne bruge, efter vi havde tjekket ud.
