Business trip, luxurious stay

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza because it was recommended by a conference at which I was presenting. I had absolutely no knowledge of Liège beforehand. The hotel was so much more interesting than the city! It was built on and around an old castle and they had cleverly incorporated the columns into their main entryway. The interior, however, was modern and stylish. The breakfast every morning was one of the best I've had at a hotel. I particularly appreciated the selection of different breads as well as all the different ways you could have eggs (scrambled, hard boiled, but you could also boil them yourself or have someone make them fresh). The hotel location was so convenient — an easy 10 minute walk from the university where my conference was. Also, there were so many excellent restaurants around! Overall, I'm not sure I'll be going back to Liège anytime soon, but I had a lovely stay and much of that was thanks to the Crowne Plaza.

Overall everything was good.except The rubber sheet on the bed I found very annoying, made me sweat and hot the whole night! Garbage cans way too small, annoying to have to stand on the peddle each time to open it! It would be very nice to have a mirror on the wall in the front room next to a plug so that each one of us could actually do our hair at the same moment! Such a huge thing for such a little expense!! Otherwise clean, big enough and staff helpful and curteous!

eine unmögliche Anreise mit dem Auto, Baustelle hat uns immer wieder woanders hingeleitet. Eine Katastrophe.

Pros: La vue et le mix ancien moderne
Location: La foire de Maastricht à environ 1/2 heure de voiture
Un hotel bien situé avec une jolie vue sur la ville des vieilles pierres et un traitement contemporain Le meilleur hotel de la ville un restaurant plus gastronomique et une brasserie

Très bel hotel. Personnel charmant et accueillant. Disponibilité du personnel pour satisfaire nos demandes au restaurant. Juste un regret de finition pour un hotel de ce standing

Le service du petit dejeuner n'est clairement pas au top... Quant au room service il faut s'y prendre tôt (45mn en moyenne pour avoir votre plat) et malgré tout 1 fois sur 3... Il manque quelque chose sur le plateau ou bien il y a quelque chose de different... Les douches manquent clairement d'un bon coup de rafraichissement, ça sent le moisi... Et c'est dommage pour un soit disant 5*
