Nice décor, if a little dated

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Pros: The quiet relaxation. The food.
Cons: A few things were in need of repair.
Location: he island is small, so every attraction is within driving distance. Nothing within walking distance. There are only a few uber drivers on the island
Generally pleased with experience. Hotel is located in a quiet relaxing spot. However, while it is on the beach, the beach is not swimmable do to the coral reef. Also the sand is currently full of bits of plastic from the tsunami. The pools were too cold for swimming. They charge $25.a day resort fee, but the hotel merely has the usual amenities of any hotel..

Pleasant staff. Save towels and towel cards. Very particular about them otherwise make you pay heavy fine if you loose towels or cards...

Vacation from hell!

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Old, run down facility with terrible service. Tiny room with dirty capet. Room listed as ocean view, but the view of the ocean was on one side of the balcony. Dining service at their main restaurant was a joke. Sometimes you can order out and sometimes you can’t. Definitely, not a 4+ rating resort. At best a 3stars, you get what you pay for!!

Ok if you get a Good Deal

Posted Jan 2, 2018
Pros: Pool
Cons: Beach cleanliness, staff attitude. Eliminate mandatory fees.
Location is convenient to the airport and reasonable drive to other towns. Pool area is the highlight of the property. Rooms are comfortable. Restaurant is good and priced on par with any other resort. Roosters are a problem if you are a light sleeper. (if you haven't done your research, this island is overrun by chickens). This hotel has adopted the model of charging fees for what most low or mid/low tier hotels include in their base rate (per day for Internet, parking, pool towels) and per night for a roll away. Beach could be nice if the Hotel committed some time to cleaning the litter, but it obviously is not an area of focus for the management, which is a shame. Finally, staff for the most part (one young valet being the exception...bad attitude) are cordial, but not especially welcoming?

It's alright

Facilities haven't kept up with the times. The service wasn't that great. Pool side cafe has limited hours. Overall ok, nothing negative but nothing worth remembering either.

Cons: Needs some renewing. The hall carpets are old. The faucets in the bathroom sink and tub leak -- not a lot, but leaking.
Location: Nothing is nearby. You need a car if you are going to stay here.
Right on the beach, but the beach is not very good for sunbathing. There is a lot of trash, though it looks like there are trying to clean it up. The restaurant and bar are expensive, but very nice and good food.

Good Value I be careful if booking with kids

Posted Dec 28, 2017
The hotel is nice and a good value. I made a reservation for two adults and two kids (ages 11 and 9). On arrival I was told that they have a king room for me and that I would have to pay an additional 40 dollars per night if I want a room that actually has beds that could support my family (ie two doubles). This was not expected and very annoying. They also charge a resort fee per night - but that was expected.

Hotel isn’t neat and the staff sucks

Posted Dec 26, 2017
We stayed for almost a week and we had booked a deluxe garden/mountain view room which was supposed to be recently renovated, however the room seems to be very old and it hasn’t got any view. It had all kinda of flies and wierd smells. We checked out an hr late and the hotel staff was not even accommodating that n they wanted to charge us additional cost just for an hr and during checkout the lady at frontdesk was very unpolite and she wanted to make sure with the cleaning staff that we did leave the umbrellas in the room. Lady, we pay thousands of bucks for the room and you r worried abt the umbrellas.

Pros: Good pool area. Rooms balcony had a decent ocean view.
Cons: Hotel looks pretty old. Maybe it could use some repainting and remodeling.
Location: Location is close to airport which makes commute easy. However, nothing much to do nearby.
Hotel looks pretty old for a resort. Up for remodeling. Beach is has rough currents and that makes it completely unusable. Pool area is nice. Amenities fees is a rip off. Not much value for that. They charge extra per night if I have to change from one king to two queen beds. No other hotel does that. Also the extra amount is not low.
