Unusually designed hotel, encompassing old and new

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Pros: The architecture combining old and new.
Cons: The bar staff did not serve me, I had to go to them, for a not very good gin and tonic and no nibbles which were served at the tables.
Location: Old Town is beautiful, but not sure I would want to spend much time outside of that area, although the parks looked nice.
Excellent hotel, 10 minutes walk from Old Town Lille. I was a bit worried that because the rooms face into an enclosed atrium with bar and restaurant it would be very noisy, but it was absolutely fine. Attentive staff and really spacious, comfortable and clean rooms.

Nice hotel close to centre and the Citadel

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: Location. Rooms were very good.
Cons: Reception advised us breakfast was included when it was not. At 22 euros each it was not worth it.
Location: Easily walkable to restaurants and bars. park with the Citadel a few minutes away.
very good overnight stay. Easy walk to restaurants and the centre.

V comfortable. Rooms looked over the busy atrium yet gratifyingly quiet at night.

Attractive hotel with good amenities.

Posted Jan 16, 2017
Pros: Good ambience. Near the centre of town.
Cons: The restaurant claims high ratings. However the plates were cold which detracted from enjoyment due to the flavours being suppressed.
Location: Near to the centre of the bustling town of Lille.
Pleasant stay in a well-equipped hotel. The restaurant experience was ver average.

Classy and quirky, quiet but central

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: Fabulous history in the building, quiet location with parking yet only 10 minutes walk to the Grand Place. Very clean and classy ....with prices to match in the bar!
Cons: Bar prices were sadly beyond my budget! Nothing to dislike.
Location: Great location, easy access for arrival by car, quiet yet easy quick walk to Grand Place. Loved Lille! Amazingly decorative old buildings!

Nice hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is very nice, the atrium/greenhouse bit in the centre is really nice. The pictures on the website and hotels.com don't really do it justice. Didn't eat in the hotel as there are so many places nearby. 5 minute walk into Lille centre. The only thing that lets this hotel down is a shower that's temperature fluctuates and the price is a bit steep. Breakfast is also an additional charge.
