Great hotel, at a wonderful location overlooking the Pacific. Steps away from a nice promenade that takes you along the prettiest neighborhoods in the city. Wonderful staff, warm and effective, the attention was excellent.

Top quality luxury hotel in the midst of poverty

My wife (who is a native of Lima) and I were in Lima for a weekend to attend a wedding. The hotel is located in on the ocean in Mira Flores which I am told is one of the nicest areas of Lima. Nice is a relative term as some of the poverty is evident walking around the hotel, though it is nothing compared to one one sees on the drive from the airport. The hotel itself is as good as anything one will find in any top U.S. market, which makes the contrast all the more impressive. There is a park across the street and an outdoor mall within walking distance and the ocean is visible. Sadly, nobody is allowed on the beach because of the pollution. They upgraded our room to one with a sauna and the largest bathtub I have ever seen (bigger than the ones inside rooms in hotels in Cancun). There is a daily breakfast buffet with views of both the ocean and the city. The service is what one would expect at a five star property. Also, they worked with us with respect to the terrible flight times to/from DFW (arrive 7 a.m.; depart midnight) -- we paid for one extra day and were allowed to check in upon arrival at 8:30 a.m. and stay until 6 p.m. on the day of our departure (instead of having to pay for two extra days, we paid for one extra).

Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, great location
Cons: We could not fault it
Location: Central location with a prime ocean view
Perfect for relaxing after a very busy Peru and Amazon tour schedule

Perfect stay. Staff was outstanding, hotel was beautiful and the location was unbeatable...quiet area but near everything. Nothing but good things to say...you won't go wrong here!

Highly Recommend Belmond Miraflores Park!

The Belmond Miraflores Park was a wonderful place to spend the last night of our tour of Peru! It was a luxurious yet comfortable hotel. Our flight did not leave till 11:45 at night and the hotel provided us with a late check out and we were able to store our bags and use the pool even after our checkout. The staff went above and beyond with the turn down device, late check out, making dinner reservations, and even escorting us to dinner a couple blocks away from the hotel.
