Felt fooled, bullied & coerced by the staff

I paid for 2 nights at Casa Bella Miraflores (CBM) on Expedia. On my arrival I was told that I won a free update to a much more expensive apt a few blocks away (still in Miraflores) for 1 night. I agreed and went back to CBM the next morning. There I was told by a lady called Gissela that my room would be ready in minutes.
As I was waiting to check in, an English-speaking elderly couple walked in and asked about the availability of a queen-bed room (which I was booked for) for 2 nights. Gissela said no but offered the couple "a free upgrade to a nicer room a few blocks away." The couple refused and was about to leave. Gissela stopped them and said she figured out a way to accommodate them.
Then Gissela walked to me and told me there has been a piping accident and she'd get a taxi to send me to another hotel "a few minutes away." I asked which neighborhood that place was in, and she replied ''San Isidro." I refused, because I was told Miraflores was the safest neighborhood.
I asked Gissela if there was any way I could stay at CBM, and she said "No!" I told her I paid for 2 nights at CBM and I was not going anywhere else. I would have to call Expedia. Then she said she could get me a room at the hotel close by but I had to pay more because it was pricier. She insisted I couldn't stay at CBM.
After I refused to pay more, Gissela said she'd cover the difference. I was then sent to El Faro Inn. The next day I peeked at the invoice which showed a lesser amount than what I paid.
