The hotel is in a good part of Miraflores great view good people close to restaurants , movies , shopping center an the transport is excellent an all in walking distances, you can get close to culture places all churches an the amenities is great

We will be back
We would stay at this hotel again. It is very well located. Walking distance to La Mar Restaurant, a shopping and restaurants area. The breakfast was good. They prepare your eggs how you like it and have a continental bar. It is a small hotel. It was clean. Not fancy. This is not a hotel to hang out in it. But great to spend the night and have a drink in the bar.

The staff here is a pleasure to interact with. They make sure your experience is pleasant. The suite was big enough for three adults to comfortably live in. The breakfast had enough variety.

During check-in, the hotel did not have the room ready, saying they had not seen the expedia reservation. Although the room was fine, the common areas of the hotel are very small and uncomfortable. I think the price is high versus hotel conditions.

Nice hotel
We stayed here after a week of trekking and an Amazon Tour. This hotel was definitely a nice upgrade from the campsite and lodges we were staying at from the week before. The rooms were very spacious and the beds are comfortable. We were a group of three people and we had plenty of room.

Room is so noilsy!!!!!!
Very noisy room. It comment is about the room 303. Since the front of the hotel is glass and the windows are not sealed, any street noise heard in the room, even a simple conversation at the hotel entrance. Dinner in the restaurant is good. Breakfast is so poor (Like La Quinta Hotels) and the restaurant space is so small.

Not so great customer service
We booked and prepaid for a bedroom with 3 superior queen sized beds. They put us in a room with 2 queen beds and a very springy and uncomfortable rollaway bed. We complained the next day after finding out that other people in our group who booked the same type of room got 3 superior queen sized beds. We were moved to the 10th floor w 3 superior queen sized beds. But the carpet by the air conditioner was damp and the sink faucet fixture leaked when we turned it on. We requested for an adjustment on the rate for our first night since we did not get what we paid for. Maria at the front desk gave us the run-around, claiming that our room was paid by Expedia and not by us so they couldn't issue an adjustment!!! Well, someone got our money!!!! I asked to speak with the manager who was not on site. I spoke to her on her cell phone, not realizing that she was the front desk manager and NOT the hotel manager. We were flabbergasted when we checked out! It has been a week since we've gotten back and I have yet to hear anything from that front desk manager or the hotel manager. I definitely DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!! They don't understand the meaning of customer service and not trustworthy! They do not deliver or honor reservations made by their guests.

This hotel was definitely not what I thought. The steps at the entrance are really inconvenient and not mentioned at all on there site. They have no ramp and I was traveling with my mother (83 years old). When I asked about various things I had read on there review they mention they have another Sonesta in a near by town of San Isidro and this one was a 5 Star hotel. I then asked to transferred there and I would pay the difference they said it was not possible they were full. There restaurant is not really a restaurant but a cafeteria that caters to local office workers in the area by a set menu. They were only open for set meals and not all the time.

Hotel perfectly situated in Miraflores. Confortable suite room. But all around services except cleanliness are not at the level of the hotel. Breakfast is poor and not well deserved. We had really better and personalized service at Sonesta Posadas del Inca in Cusco. We were expecting the same service level arriving in Lima.

Just what we needed
Had a layover in Lima from Cusco on our way home. Arrived at 9:00am, outgoing flight not until 1:45am so we had the day to explore the city. After a few hours we were exhausted and cranky, decided to get a hotel to just relax before our flight. Booked here because it was close to where we were, was inexpensive and looked nice. I accidentally selected 2 guests when booking, instead of including our teenage son. When we arrived, they told us we needed to pay $35 more for him, even though the extra person would have been $8 more if booked through Expedia. They were very insistent on this, but after I explained we would only be there for 5 hours, they allowed him to stay at no extra charge. They gave us a great suite with 2 separate rooms that was perfect. Minutes after we arrived they brought up welcome drinks which was very nice. Ended up being perfect and exactly what we needed!

Good location
My girlfriend and I had a few days in Lima. We knew to stay in Miraflores because it is nice to be able to walk to the ocean front. We arrived at 9 am which was too early for their 1 pm check in time. They did offer to hold our luggage so we could do some shopping and site seeing but the hotel was not very busy and to check in early was an extra cost of nearly half the nightly rent. Still I understand the rules. They gave us a free late check out which was 2 hours later than the normal checkout.

A great time in Lima
The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, I was here for 6 days, and it totally felt like home. the breakfast food is good, nice little bar with drinks. the room is clean, many rooms have two separate rooms with one bed in each room. It has a bidet (i think that's how it is spelled) in the bathroom which I thought was funny. If you are in the 6th floor or higher, you have a nice skyline view. The hotel is very centrally located in a nice part of lima, with quick access to a highway, the coast, shops, and restaurants. It is about 15 minute max walk to a nice mall built into the edge of a cliff that has restaurants with views of the ocean off the cliff. Also very safe to go out at night to the clubs nearby. Om, industrial, and gothika are good places to go. If you only speak english, go to a hostel nearby and you will find travelers from around the world that are always looking for other english speakers to speak to and go to a club with. Overall, staying at this hotel was a great experience!

Hotel is well located and service is friendly. However, the room was shabby. The bed and a chair were missing a leg. The rug was dirty. Lack of soundproofing meant that I could hear the conversation in the room bext door. Not recommended

Hotel Sonesta in Miraflores
Very good location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, casinos, Supermarkets, Kennedy Park. Larco Mar shopping center nearby. Hotel clean, staff are nice & helpful even though their English skills are limited. A little noisy b/c my room is on 2nd fl & facing the street. I would stay at this hotel next time I m in Lima.
