Wish they had good internet in the rooms
Soul Mate Inn is a good place to stay in Miraflores, if good internet is not a top priority. The internet is fair at best, except in the lobby. The main problem is the distance from the airport. If you are going or coming to the airport allow 1 and a half hours during rush hour, or one hour if leaving near noon. The beds are not bad, and they have air conditioning. Plenty of hot water in decent bathrooms. They serve a free breakfast, more than continental. The area is not bad, but I'm not sure tourists should walk around at night. Achilles restaurant is close, left and then around the right corner. Wonderful food and good service and quiet except for the street noise.

I got there a day after my initial reservation date, however we called the hotel and told them that I had lost my flight connection to Lima the day I was supposed to arrive there, and they said that it was no problem, that they would save my reservation for September 28,. I got there past midnight of September 28, and they told me that my name wasn't even there in their reservations record. So at around 2:00 AM that night I had to look for another hotel.

After accidentally leaving my passport in the cab from the airport, the hotel staff bent over backwards to track down the cabdriver and retrieved it for me before my flight left the following day. The entire staff was always on top of everything. Thanks especially to Esmarelda for going out of her way for me. Super job!

Nice basic hotel
I really enjoyed my stay despite the noise from the workers nearby. It is a good thing I was not there during the day. Room came with a tv and mini fridge. Staff were very nice and helpful even upon my check in at 2:30 in the morning. It is walking distance from many sites, shopping, beaches and buses. Felt safe.

Not recomend ed it is not what the description say
It was not what I expected. It is not located in Miraflores as they say. The room do not have a bathtub as it satated in the booking. According to the receptionist they do not have rooms with bathtubs any more as they renovated and change it for showers. We were told that after they change us the room a couple times. The carpet was dirty and the washroom had greenish patches in the cealing. The breakfast was delicious. I wouldn't recommend this place and I wouldn't book it again

Got to play golf in Lima.
The front desk staff were very helpful in coordinating with a members-only golf club nearby so that I could play as a guest. I do not speak Spanish and it took some effort. Thank you for your help, amigos!

Hotel price for hostal services
I had a very disappointing stay here. First I had a problem with my room since I asked for a double room, however, I got a room with only one bed. While trying to fix this, the guy from the front desk was helpless and even disrespectful through the phone. In addition, my reservation said "city view", however, most of the rooms (as mine as well) had a view towards another room! So forget about any kind of privacy and natural light if you don't want to be with your curtains closed every time. Finally, the room was very small and once, the cleaning staff didn't clean up my bathroom. I just can't believe how these guys make it to deliver such a nasty service. Don't go there!!

Convenient and clean
The stay in general was pretty good. Beds were ok, mine had spring issues. We did lose hotbwater for half a day but by bedtime it was good. Area is nice, 2 blocks away from park to catch great views of ocean and sunset. Corner store on other side of street too

Convenient location
The greatest asset for this hotel is their staff - and location. Great customer service from their employees and my congratulations. They were excellent in helping our group with some tours and accommodating our needs . My special thanks to them!!

Good for the price
I was there for the Conference of the Parties under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change for almost three weeks. The hotel is easily accessible and was quite near from the center of Miraflores. The neighborhood was also safe and quite. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. However, if you are on a business trip who needs his WiFi internet, this might not be a suitable hotel for you since the WiFi connection was weak in the rooms and I had to go down to the dining room to have a good connection. Also, the walls seem to be thin as I could hear my neighbors as well as noise from the street below. The curtains were also not thick enough to block the light and I am a person who can't sleep with just a little light. So it was a challenge. Also, the breakfast was meager that I had to eat at around 9:00 am just so I could survive until lunch.

Probably nice in the summer
Good location, close to the coast, walking distance from local ruins and the shops. Good for exploring Miraflores. Lima was cold in August - the hotel has no heating. Our room was on the 5th floor, a family room with 4 beds, but was horribly cold, damp and smelly, probably because one wall didn't extend to the ceiling, so was open to a balcony outside which couldn't be closed off. The elevator only extends to the 4th floor, so we had to carry cases up a staircase to reach our room. But, the staff were really sweet and helpful. Luckily we were only booked for 2 nights. It's probably ok in the summer!

Better off at a Hostal
Hotel is on the outskirts of Miraflores, not in a particularly good area. You must take a cab or bus to go to the city center. The Hotel is not very well kept, rooms are not clean but they are working on renovating it. The staff is very friendly, but are not very knowledgeable about tourism.

la peor experiencia en alojamiento en muchos años
UN DESASTRE¡¡¡¡ La pagina dice que -tiene estacionamientos, y solo tiene una extencion de la veredad donde no entraba mi carro -Me pidieron y cargaron a mi tarjeta 1 noche de alojamiento a pesar de que ya había cancdelado a través de hoteles . com, sigo esperando la devolución o anulación de ese cargo - Que las sabanas son de algodón egipcio, lo único egipcio que quizás tienen, son los pelos que encontramos en 3 de las 4 camas de la habitación, quizás eran pelos de camellos - en el cuarto no etraban las 4 camas, se nos dijo que nuestra habitación asignada era una suite y que por una fuga nos habían dado ese espacio - Nos retiramos sin usar ninguna de las dos noches reservadas, hice el reclamo a Hoteles .com y la respuesta fue que no se hacen responsables y que el hotel no acepto la devolución. ¡¡MUY MAL HOTELES.COM He reservado en todos mis viajes a través de esta pagina y debido a esta situación, no volveré a hacerlo. No puede ser que no se hagan responsables por publicidad engañosa (10 pm con 3 niños pequeños)

Estimado Sr. Pablo, Un gusto saludarlo, como le comentamos personalmente el cargo de la tarjeta ya se reverso, el tema de la cancelacion de su reserva si es algo que solo podia ser anulado por Hotels.com pero bajo las politicas en la que Ud. reservo, en su caso fueron tarifas NO Reembolsables, quizas por eso no se pudo cancelar. Con relacion a la habitacion se le ofrecio otra pieza y Ud. no accedio, lamentamos mucho el mal rato.

Cumpriu parte do acordado.
O apartamento nao era o contratado, tendo em vista que nao tinha ar condicionado(estava com defeito e foi retirado pra reparo), o secador de cabelo estava quebrado, o colchão nao era de qualidade, nem as roupas de cama. Mas no geral, deu pra dormir e aproveitar a cidade, pois era proximo ao centro de miraflores.

Fue una decepcionante, por suerte reserve sólo dos noches....desde que entre tenía mal olor, el piso sucio y que decir de la habitación, el tapete sucio y tuve que pedir que me cambiaran las sábanas....un asco estaban sucias y manchadas.....no lo recomiendo para nada.

Excelente opción en Miraflores!
Excelente ubicación , atención de recepcionistas sobresaliente. Hotel limpio y muy cómodo con todas las facilidades. A observar solamente el servicio de desayuno (más rápida limpieza de mesas y reposición de comida).
