Arrived late, 11:30 pm-ish. Overnight office was located separately from main lobby. Waited a few minutes for someone to arrive at the desk. Gentleman didn’t speak a single word to me or my family. Overnight lobby is poorly maintained (small, peeling wallpaper, dirty). Had 2nd floor room (with interior doors - a must for me). Door to send floor were not locked/secured and could be accessed by anyone at any time without a key card. 2nd floor definitely smelled like cigarettes and one side of the hall was smacking, the other side was non smoking. This all being said, my non smoking room was in nice condition. The 2 queen beds were comfortable, the room was clean, albeit slightly dated. The bathroom was a typical non-fuss, cheap hotel bathroom. The towels were atrociously thin and scratchy. I had two teenage girls and myself staying here, and there was ONE bath towel. I had to go back downstairs to the overnight loony and wait another 5 minutes for the manager to slide two towels under the security glass for me. I did NOT enter the main lobby so I have no knowledge of that feature.
I stayed here as a last minute, cheap hotel due to an emergency. I wouldn’t stay here again if I had an option, especially with other newer, nicer hotels next door, but it’s definitely not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at either. If the doors to the stairwell were secured and the manager was polite, I’d definitely have thought better of the property.
