Nice weekend getaway

Everything was perfect, room, staff, premises etc. One thing to improve: checkout took longer than expected because there was only one hotel representative handling check-ins and check-outs. It took me more than 20 minutes to check out.

This hotel offers comfort and pure indulgence. There are 5 restaurants on site serving excellent food. The spa is just fabulous and I had it to myself. Buffet breakfast caters for everything you could possibly want.

Nice hotel but too greedy

The hotel is clearly one of the nicer ones in Lima. However, they take their status a bit too seriously and try to extract every penny they can from their customers, which is pretty annoying. We wanted to add a 3rd bed to a room that cost us $150 for double occupancy, and they charged us $90 for that bed. That means the third bed cost MORE than the first two. Absurd. A bottle of water in the room cost $10. That's $10 for a bottle of water in Peru. When ordering a cab they immediately send you one of the hotel's Mercedes cars, at god only knows what charge. Asking them for a regular cab seemed to confuse them and we had to walk out on the street and grab one. Also, the hotel is located in a business district so not much to do within walking distance. On the plus side, room was nice, hotel was nice, service was nice and the pool looked amazing. Foo bad they got all greedy.

Although I am glad you found our hotel, the service we provide and our pool to your liking, I am sorry that you found some of our prices a bit higher that you would have preferred. I thank you for giving us the chance to review our pricing policy for an extra bed, we will certainly look into this and make the necessary changes if applicable. Please know that we also offer complimentary bottled water in our rooms, which is usually located next to the bottled water we sell. The bottled wáter for sale is an imported Brand, and as some of our guests like it, we have it available as an option to our locally sourced wáter. We take our guest's safety as a main priority, and considering that sometimes taxi service in Lima is not reliable, we made a decisión to work with a third party that does offer the safety, reliability and comfort our clients expect. Having said that, we can also flag down another taxi if our guest requests it, I am terribly sorry if our team was not able to assist you with this. Nice safe area

Located in a modern area if San Isidro. Near to lots of Embassy. Good restaurant in the property, however a little distance to other restaurants in the area. Friendly staff and nice gym.

Hotel Great! Transportation services, super poor!

The hotel room portion was excellent but I was left with a bad impression from the hotel transportation. I requested a transport to the airport with a short stop at a local market for souvenirs. Total travel time was 3 hrs, once at the airport, they wanted to charge me US$170!! I was very upset once I was told of the outrageous fare, I travel often to all parts of LATAM and have never once been charged this amount even with a full day of booking. I rely heavily on the additional services provided by the hotel, such as transportation so for me this is a deal breaker. Hotel was great but the transportation services broke the deal. Doubt that I will be staying there on my next visit.

Swissôtel Lima partners with a transportation company as matter of security; as you have probably noticed in your travels within Latin America, taxi regulations vary greatly from country to country; as do requirements for insurance and safety features. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, this company provides the necessary guarantees, such as liability insurance which would cover any medical costs (a definite must when travelling abroad), plus the added security features that a high end vehicle is sure to provide. Transportation rates are posted at the hotel's main entrance, I am sorry if you missed them before hopping on to the cab. In regards to the rate you were asked to pay, I would be more than happy to follow up on this, as it is important that all of our guests feel that they have been justly charged. Wonderful hotel!

Pros: The comfortable, clean and beautiful hotel and room. The friendly, kind and helpful staff.
Cons: If the breakfast buffet time could be extended (to perhaps 11am).
Location: It was only a 15 minute Uber ride to Miraflores and other areas we went to. We also had several tours/excursions and our hotel was easily accessible.
The hotel was beautiful, including the lobby and our room. The staff was extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly! We were exhausted from our redeye flight, but Jacqueline was able to help us with checking-in much earlier. She and other front desk staff were always friendly and very helpful. Victor was also extremely kind and helpful with finding our Uber rides and with our bags. The breakfast buffet was also delicious with a variety of options. Our room was very comfortable, clean and the bathroom was extremely spacious. We were extremely pleased with our stay at Swissôtel Lima! :)
