The property overall was fine considering the price we paid. Ammenities and location was good. There is a carrefour next door. Communication with the property was good. Dislikes were the towels. They were stained. We requested additional towels but they were not any better. Water easily splashes out of the shower, making the floor wet. The main room along floor/wall looks dirty.

Definitely the best hotel in Buenos Aires. Front desk was amazing! Thanks for the room upgrade for my birthday week. Breakfast was delicious and always enjoyable. Restaurant and pool service was slow but seemed like they improved during the 10 days at the hotel. The spa was very nice. The gym was good, but needs newer cardio. The pool is gorgeous and worth choosing Faena.

It’s a decent hotel.

The SLS Puerto Madero Hotel invested heavily in its external appearance and in a single top-tier amenity (the gym), but visibly cut costs on the internal structure of the apartments and the furniture. The poor soundproofing (due to internal drywall walls) and the discomfort of the furniture mean the stay falls short of expectations and does not justify the price. Furthermore, a service failure (ignoring the promised welcome bottle of wine) was an unacceptable lapse. If your absolute priority is a state-of-the-art gym (with Technogym equipment), the hotel might be worthwhile. Otherwise, if you are looking for comfort, quiet, and attentive service, the experience will likely be frustrating.

Casa Lucia is tucked away on a lovely, quiet street, offering an atmosphere of refined calm. The hotel has an old-fashioned sense of luxury and service — the kind of five-star experience you’d find 20 years ago, in the best possible way. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the gym was excellent — far better than what you usually find in a boutique hotel. The only downside was the oddly shaped, very small shower, which didn’t match the otherwise spacious comfort of the room. Still, Casa Lucia is a wonderful place to stay for anyone who appreciates classic elegance and genuine hospitality.
