We were at a wedding check in was perfect and the whole day was perfect. The food was delicious. Rooms are beautiful and clean but most importantly the bed was so comfortable and lovely soft sheets. I would like a room with a walk in shower though rather than over bath, but wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Disliked: Amenities
Had a lovely overnight trip, but was really disappointed I wasn’t informed before travel regarding the maintenance going on. Spa and pool closed, golf restaurant closed, bar closed for refurbishment, did speak to staff and was credited with £50 on my room account. Can’t praise the staff enough as they can only do what they can in the circumstances. Will definitely not be back until all complete. One other thing was the temporary bar was understaffed and very expensive. Rooms are great, clean and comfortable.

Building work going on at the hotel just now, as they are renovating parts of it. We were told about this before we booked. It didn’t affect our stay at all though. It was good to see the improvements they are making. Staff are amazing. So very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.
