Super professional and friendly staff, perfect location, delicious breakfast with terrace, nice room. Just, to enjoy the swimming pool of Holiday Inn nearby costs 8€ per person.

We arrived later in the evening, but was still greeted by a friendly receptionist, who checked us in very quickly. Our room was made up for the amount of people that we were, and was clean and convenient. The bar was open and we enjoyed a night cap. Parking is a little bit of a problem, but there is a safe parkade close by.

The staff all ready have been helping me in my exploring the area more. I have look in the beauty salons and shopping street. They have more than help to change my room because it was too noisy.

December in Hasselt
This is a centrally located hotel and very convenient for all Hasselt has to offer. A 15.min walk from main station. Doable even with luggage. Local taxis all cost 8 euro. The breakfast was oustanding. The room was not large but adequate for a few nights. Wish instant coffee wasn't the room option, but plenty of coffee down stairs. A little maintenance needed in the shower since corners were mildewy and shower soap was not refilled. TP was definitely not Charmin.

Disappointed we did not get the room we booked, a king size; instead we got 2 single beds. Very small room. Excellent breakfast, though, everything was fresh.

Short weekend in Hasselt
Well located hotel in Hasselt. Within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of train station and near to shops etc. Room was clean and ideal for a short break. Staff were all very courteous and spoke good English.

Fantastic for the price
There is little amenity, no fridge, and breakfast is minimum. But rooms are spacious and clean, shower stall door closes nic and tight, staff are friendly and efficient, and I actually love the snack bar in the lobby. This was my second stay and I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here during the Pukkelpop festival. 5 mins walk from the train station/festival shuttle bus. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Would happily stay here again.

Good standard Holiday Inn service, you always know what to expect. Breakfast was nice, not top quality but tasty. It is such a shame they do not have a parking lot. Parking was really difficult and I ended up having to stay a 15min walk away from the hotel. Wifi was rather slow

A saddened experience
The overall experiences were so so. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm, but was told that the room will not be ready until 5pm, so we were forced to leave the luggages at the lobby and go around nearby with an exhausted body after almost 13 hours of flight. And on the next day, my roommate's wallet got stolen inside the elevator of this hotel. We went to the police station in Brussels but the police did not even bother to help. We then went back to the hotel, and request to look at the cameras but they refused. The hotel manager confirmed that the 2 thieves were not the hotel guests, so I think the security has to be stregthened.

Nice small hotel near near train station. Just 5-8 minutes by walk. Near shopping area. For smokers - there are no smoking floors, But if U`ll take room on 1 floor, there are verandas in each room, so You can smoke outside without any problem.

Nice place to stay
I stayed one night for business. The room is OK, nothing special. You have basic item you need. The bar/cafe in the hotel opens by midnight which is plus. Waiters/Waiteress are very nice and they have great beer selection, good coffee, and breakfast.

Good simple hotel
I was staying at the hotel to attend a wedding in town. The hotel was good, clean, big clean room with big comfortable bed. Room was first floor, so I could open the window - I love that! No ironing board in the room, ended up skipping that one outfit. When getting ready for the wedding party I needed to straighten my hair. There were no outlets near any of the mirrors in the room/bathroom, made it a challande to run back and forth from plug to mirror. Breakfast was simple, breads, yoghurt and different cereals. But the breads were so good! I barely wanted to stop eating!

The only grumble I had was that I had to pay for parking. Which I didn't anticipate as we were going to fly there and had to change to driving at the last minute. It was secure parking just round the corner in an underground car park but it was 14 euros for 24 hours.

Short and Sweet!
One Holiday Inn is like any other, the staff were friendly, the hotel close to the city, the rooms clean although small for a Twin. The Parking is awful hear, and don't park next door in front of the Police station you will get fined like me or worst still towed. I would only stop hear again if there was a shortage of options around the city. However the breakfast was not bad buffet style.

Stay at Holiday Inn Express hotel in Hasselt
The hotel is placed conveniently close to the town centre with plenty of choice of restaurants and interesting shops. The hotel has a pleasant reception area, helpful staff and our room was comfortable and clean. The inclusive continental breakfast was good. The only downside was that parking was a problem. You could park outside and feed the meter till 7 pm if you could get a space. There was a free car park within walking distance but we found it impossible to find the way in, although we could see all the vehicles parked.

Was bitten by mozies or bed bugs.
Air conditioning now working, meaning for hotel people.. It was on, but you had disconnected the wire that is used to cool the room, it's standard practice in hotel out of the hot season to do this hence the room baking hot, windows opened and I was either bitten by mozies or bed bugs! Walking into room for first time, cleaner had dropped a used face flannel on floor by door, didn't touch it, kicked it into hallway.. Was still there morning afterwards.. Hotel though ok would stay again unless I'd bitten again I'd ask for room to be properly cleaned and bed bugs checked if that was the case.
