Room was not a suite

Posted Feb 4, 2015
I booked a suite room with expedia, expedia booked it wrong it was a regular king room. The pool was not heated and was dirty, there was no maid service our second day due to nobody came in due to snow, when we checked in the guy at desk basically yelled at me because I booked through expedia, said I don't know why people just don't call the hotel for reseevations.

Great hotel in Lincoln close to game shuttle

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Location. Nice big pool. Good included hot breakfast.
Cons: Needs a work out room and better business internet computer.
Location: Blocks from the Big Red Express shuttle pick up at Northstar High School and minutes from Walmart, Sams, HyVee, directy across from DQ and near Popeye
We have stayed here several times. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool area is great - clean and well kept. Our room was clean and redone. Bathroom is good size. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is kept well stocked and a good selection of things to eat. Could use a work out facility and internet is pretty slow but otherwise a good hotel at a good price that is just minutes to Northstar where you can take shuttles to the Husker games.

Nice hotel close to the Husker Express pick-up

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Pool was great and the breakfast was very good. There is plenty of parking and the carpet and bedding were fresh and clean.
Cons: Needs a gym. We like to get a little run in each day and if we were staying in a winter month and couldn't run outside we would pick another place
Location: The hotel is close to Northstar High School where the Husker Express picks up for games. Kohls, Sams, Walmart, TRU, and restaurants all along 27th.
We stayed here to go to a Husker game. Nice hotel with a great pool and a good breakfast spread. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Rooms are clean and look like they have been recently redone. Carpet and bedding are fresh and clean. Bathroom was good - plenty of hot water and clean. The kids loved the doughnuts and waffles. My husband and I liked the yogurt and eggs and sausage. Also had cereals and oatmeals and breads. Good selection of items for everyone. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub. There is also a pool table in the pool area.

Good hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Location is great. Clean and newly remodeled. Pool is clean. Good hot breakfast included.
Location: Next to DQ. Near Walmart, Kohls, Sams Club and other shopping just down 27th. Five minutes from Northstar (pick up for Husker game buses to stadium)
The hotel was nice - newly remodeled rooms with clean carpet and nice bedding. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Staff was great - very nice and attentive. Pool was clean and area was well kept - always a good supply of clean towels. Kids loved the pool and the hot tub. Breakfast was good - nice variety and well stocked when we were there both mornings and the hotel was full. The hotel itself faces 27th but you have to use an access road to get to it so if you use a nav system to get there, it won't tell you where to turn but you can get to the access road on either side. Right next to a DQ if you need some ice cream and just down the street from Walmart/Sams/Kohls/Husker Headquarters if you want to shop. Also a quick drive to Northstar high school to catch the buses to the games. We would stay here again.

Nice room with comfortable bed

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: See above
The room we reserved had been occupied by a smoker the night before, and I believe it was the only room available that night. Before we arrived he brought in fans and sprayed the room with an orange deodorant. It was okay by the time we arrive except the carpet was wet--perhaps from condensation from one of the fans. At breakfast about 8:30 the coffee urns were empty and there was no waffle mixture in the container for making waffles. When walking around the grounds with our dogs we noticed that there was some unslightly debris that could have been picked up. Many of the plants in the garden birds around the entrance were dead.

Enjoyable stay.

Posted May 5, 2012
We enjoyed our one-night stay. The staff was friendly, room was nicely appointed with a comforatble bed and updated furnishings. It was conveniently located on a main highway, close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was satisfying; although the breakfast area seemed a bit congested at the time we were there. I would stay here again. Good value!

Moldy shower curtain

Posted Jun 21, 2011
After camping for a week, we were looking forward to checking into our hotel, taking showers and lying in bed and watching a movie. The hotel looked great! But when I took my shower I looked down and saw the bottom 5 inches or so of the white shower curtain was mold. Gross. I got really creeped out by this so I got out of there as fast as possible. Then went to climb into bed and found a smashed bug between the sheets. Needless to say, my family will not be going back there again. I complained to the desk and they said the cleaning person probably just didn't see the shower curtain. No way. Black mold on a white curtain and it didn't just occur overnight.
