Very pleasant and easy stay. Staff was very friendly and check it and out was quick and easy. Bed was comfortable with nice, large, fluffy pillows.

Great hotel in SW Lincoln

Wonderful hotel, great food and bar. In a great location near restraunts and shopping. This hotel is a short 30 minutes drive to Doane University.

Cons: Serve breakfast and be conscious of the overall condition of the facility
Elevator out shortly after check in for my two day stay. No toner in either of the printers in the business center. No breakfast available unless you wanted to eat at the attached bar and grill. Staff was accommodating, considering what they had to deal with. Not a pleasant experience and I am usually an overall fan of Holiday Inn Express. Hope this is my last bad experience with them

Great Place to Stay

Hotel was easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Hotel had a one inch electric cable in hallway

Location: Location was near our meeting place.
See above. That was a very difficult thing to keep from tripping over. Those rooms should have not been booked.

Good value on Gameday

Cons: Always under construction -- let it be!
Parking, refrigerator, microwave, fitness club, indoor pool, café, room service, room size are all good. I could hear some sounds from other rooms, but not too bad. A bit of a drive to downtown, but plenty of eating place and grocery stores in the area. Good walking paths nearby.

We only had one washrag for the two of us we saw the housekeeper in the hallway Saturday morning asked again for more washrags and were told Again we are short and don't have enough.

Good location, but nothing else

Check-in was friendly and fast, but things went downhill from there. No complimentary breakfast. Pool was freezing cold. Hot tub was good, thank goodness. No housekeeping services during our 3-day stay. After calling the front desk, I was delivered more towels and soap, but still no housekeeping service. Dirty towels and full trash cans were there when we checked out. I complained during checkout and wasn't offered any discount, just a "sorry".

Decent Quality, Clean and New Looking

Pros: The hotel was chosen for its amenities and location (a mile from where I was heading). The property was clean and looked new/recently remodeled.
Cons: Aura, the property's restaurant, was not good at all. Additionally, I felt that the property was slightly overpriced for the amenities it offered.
Location: Located in southwest Lincoln, which appears to be a newer area of town. Basically any suburban store you can imagine was less than 10 minutes away
The hotel was fine - a no frills property that got the job done.Location had everything to do with why I booked this hotel. I feel that the hotel was slightly overpriced for the market in terms of what it offered.The hotel was under construction while I was staying there - a fact that I don't recall was advertised anywhere, including the property's actual website.The management of the construction debris was sub-par.There were piles of debris within 5 feet of an active doorway and nothing cordoning off hotel guests to separate them from it.There was one restaurant on the property called Aura. It needs to be closed or totally improved. We were told it was open for breakfast at 6am.We went down the next morning for breakfast at 7:30, to find the restaurant deserted.We went to the front desk, who found staff to basically man the restaurant.We ate in the restaurant by ourselves.The food took a very long time. The waitress apologized and said that her boss was the one cooking today and that she was new to cooking. It seemed as if she took it on to fill the role. The food was unacceptable. My omelet with cheese had a cheese single melted on top of it. I asked for a side of bacon, and instead received a few bacon crumbles in the omelet. We didn't say anything because we had to be on our way, and the place was slow as it was. Anyone staying here, I would dissuade from eating at the restaurant. Since it was deserted, maybe everyone else already knew that it was pretty much a joke.
