Very Nice and Clean

Very comfortable stay. Would chose Woodspring Suites over many. Very reasonable price for weekly stay. Friendly staff.

This place is disgusting.

disgusting, dirty, stinks. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything.

Easy to locate and reasonable pricing.

Pros: Parking was good. Office (When it was open) was good. The office staff we were in contact with was good.
Cons: Office hours for early check out.
Location: Close to restaurants and service stations.
The only problem we had was the office not opening early. As travelers we normally leave early in the morning. We were unable to get a receipt for our stay and requested one be emailed. As of Saturday September 17th we still have not received it. Checked out September 15th by phone.

Great bargain... if they honor your reservation.

Value Place is by far the least expensive decent extended-stay hotel in Lincoln. There are cheaper places, but they don't have kitchens and often the clientele is pretty sketchy. The biggest problem with VP is you run the risk of not getting the room you reserved and may not get a room at all -- despite having a reservation -- if a guest decides to extend their stay. We have encountered this 6 out of the last 7 times we've stayed there. Four times we had to take rooms with features or amenities different than what we had reserved and twice we even had to find other accommodations on our own, on a football weekend, and ended up an hour away in Omaha. Another big issue is parking... they allow construction teams staying there to park their trucks and trailers in the parking lot which takes up lots of extra spaces and makes it extremely difficult to find a parking spot if you get back to the hotel late in the evening. I think all my other comments would be positive... it is a clean hotel is very well maintained, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the location is close to I-80 access. But the risk of them not honoring my confirmed reservation has me wondering if I want to take that chance again.

And you are correct, as an extended stay hotel we do run into situations, especially when are at capacity, that guests extend their stay which in turn causes room types to be unavailable. We should be proactive and calling you in advance to offer an alternative room type or assist in finding you other accommodations at another property. I regret if this has been not happened. We called ahead and told the front desk we'd be a late check in. They gave away our room and were charged twice!

Hotel Gave Our Room Away - Two Thumbs Down!

Hotel overbooked themselves by 9 rooms and gave our room away. We ended up having to drive to the next major town - 90 miles away - to find a room. Horrible front desk service. Hotel is older and pretty run down. Off the main highway and not easy to find.
