Not in centre but well worth it

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Everything of high quality, quiet rooms, great view.
Location: Zoo nearby. Centre about 3 miles away, but metro station just down road. No problems at all.
Had a great stay. Hotel and staff were great, everything from room to gym were to highest quality. About 3 miles out from centre but metro station 3 min walk away. We walked most days and enjoyed it (El Corte Ingles dept store with food court, cinema and supermarket on the way). Rooms were quiet and the view was brilliant. Will definitely stay there the next time in Lisbon.

Soooooo relaxing

Posted Aug 13, 2017
Pros: Friendly, comfortable and a pleasure to return to after a long day sight seeing.
Cons: If I had anything to say here it would just be for the sake of it.
Our view of our stay is skewed by the fact that we had access to the Executive Sky lounge which we were to find means standards of service at a level of excellence we have not previously benefitted from. The rooms are functional as you would expect for a city stay. Our bathroom speaker did not work. We had to have the coffee machine replaced as the original on arrival did not work (BOO-HOO!) both petty issues. The view we had across the cityscape just amazing. After a long day trudging around doing the usual tourist thing it was an absolute delight to know that we returning to a very comfortable, trouble free, and uninterrupted and quiet night's rest. The hotel is near to the airport and a stones throw away from the Metro so getting out and about is no problem.

Disastrous series of events.

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Pros: Spa and only the spa.
Cons: Customer service, information, cleanliness, etc...
Location: Location is 2 mins from the subway and so very commutable.
4 Night stay ...No mention of renovation works on hotel website yet when we arrived there was an overwhelming drilling noise that filled the room. When we complained, we were told the hotel was undergoing renovation (had we known we would not have stayed here and purposely excluded other hotels in our search that mentioned renovation works. We felt deceived.). The reception staff moved us to a new room on a higher floor so that it was away from the renovation. We could still hear the drilling but it was a faint noise and rather than raise another issue with reception we chose to ignore the faint noise. That evening however we were mortified to find that the room we had been moved, was an adjoining room next to a family with a young child. Therefore we had to suffer all evening to the sound of a crying baby. We were also woken up early in the morning to the baby crying once again. We do not like to complain and so did not complain at reception again but dealt with it. The same thing happened the next night and we could not deal with it and so had to complain again! What was supposed to be a relaxing break, the hotel turned into a disastrous stay and break. To add insult to injury, I emailed the hotel prior to arrival that the purpose of the trip was for our anniversary weekend. Not one person said happy anniversary and it was a less than desirable stay, not the anniversary weekend we hoped for. Furthermore the rooms we moved to had dirty towels with black marks! Worst 5* stay

Luxury stay

Posted Aug 4, 2017
We were only here for one night before flying out, but the experience was great. It is a beautiful hotel, attentive and helpful staff. It is close to the airport (about 10-15 mins driving) but seems somewhat far from parts of Lisbon like the Barrio Alto or the Alfama. I do not know what is around in terms of shops or nightlife because we ate dinner at the hotel (great restaurants and bars though).

It what u see in the internet. Very good

Posted Aug 4, 2017
The staff are very nice and helpful. I went with my children age 4 and 5. We all had a good time in the hotel. We enjoyed the swimming pool and we stayed in one of the exceutive room so we had excesses to the effective lounge. It was very good. Beautiful view of Lisbon. Continued buffet service and drinks available throughout the day. From the hotel u can connect to where you will like to go. I and the children took a bus to the beach and belam for some sightseeing.

Nice hotel with excellent staff!

Posted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: Large sized rooms with reasonable price
Cons: Not enough outlets in the room, need some by the bed to plug in phones.
Location: Every cab driver knew where this hotel was situated. Seemed like it wasn't in the touristy part of town which was nice in some ways.
Very happy with this hotel. We were offered an upgrade for a reasonable cost that included breakfast. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was excellent, primarily the concierge service which we used several times. They were helpful, knew multiple languages and very friendly. Would recommend this hotel!

Comfortable hotel

Posted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and nice rooms
Cons: Room cleaning not up to scratch on occasions, ie: bins not emptied, glasses unwashed. Tea,coffee, milk replenishments had to be asked for each day
Location: Central to Metro and train station
Very friendly hotel close to all amenities. Friendly staff although prices differed for the same drinks in the restaurant and terrace lounge bar. Prices are bumped up quite a lot so you need to suss out the local bars and eating places. Very relaxing though on the whole and a quiet spot.

Amazing for the family

I come with my family. Variety of ages between 11 and 73. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfasts were amazing. Great transport links. Found a wonderful traditional Portuguese restaurant two doors away.
